"We came to Son Mas last year for six nights, half-board and rebooked immediately after we left. Boutique high-quality hotels in the country is absolutely our thing and this lovely Son Mas Hotel Rural does not disappoint. From the stunning tranquility of the infinity pool overlooking open countryside to our beautiful suite with a private terrace it is just the most wonderful place to stay. "Overall a nice stay, reception staff was very friendly on arrival and made sure we understand all the facilities from the hotel. Breakfast was okay, swimming pool was quite basic so we didn't spend any time there but headed to the beach instead, which was convenient as the hotel is right next to it. However the check out did let down our overall experience as there was only one staff at the reception at the check out peak hours (11am), she had to manage guests inquiries, guests wanting exchange...

"we visited this hotel out of season, so it was relatively quiet, but very enjoyable. the apartments are well stocked with pans, tea towels, washing up liquid etc. There is plenty of space for 2 (I wouldn't recommend for 3) and it is only a short walk to shops and the beach (although the hill is quite steep). We had a hire car which was invaluable for getting about, but if you want just beach and pool holiday, this is not necessary."
