We showed up after hours and our key was ready for us. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The units are very large and very reasonably priced. Super close to Mammoth Mountain. The kitchenette had just what we needed. Wish we stayed longer than 1 night!

The chalet was nice but there was snow/ice all of the walkway to enter. The second shower didn’t work and it was a little noisy with the office being through the door. On a positive, the price was great; location was perfect, there is a lot of space and space for skis/snowboards. Overall it was a nice chalet and despite some negatives, we would stay there again.

Bathroom shower curtains were terribly stinky since it hadn’t been washed for a while. I had to request change of it. Body wash bottle was empty on day 1 so had to request a refill. Housekeeping basic minimum such as change of towel or emptying of trash was requested in the morning and receptionist was complaining even though I did not request a full housekeeping. There is no place to wait for my taxi inside after check out time which is 11am. Receptionist told me she had to lock the office at 11:30 am as she had to leave and so I had to drag my luggage to a coffee shop which is not even nearby. Lack of general convenience or coffee shops around within immediate walking distance

The room was absolutely gross. The room smelled like smoke covered by chemicals. The carpet was so incredibly dirty. Probably has not been updated since the place was built. The bathroom was also gross. Basically everything was dirty and dingy. The heater in the room was definitely original. Kept the room warm but was so old it was most likely dangerous. Just stay somewhere else! You’ll be so sorry if you stay at this place.

The unit, 305, had an awful smell, poorly masked by cleaning chemicals. The door had a major draft, letting cold air in. The hot water never really got hot. The bathroom sink leaked to the floor. The heater in the room had the temperature setting dial broken, unable to adjust the temperature. Overall, just a terrible experience. Only saving grace is the location. The place was dirty. Found clumps of hair on the carpet, probably not vacuumed in between guests.

Front desk staff are helpful and friendly. Cabin had all the basics. Wish cabin was more sound proof. Otherwise no problems. Approximately 10 minute walk to the village gondola.

Great old Mammoth feel!
The room was super comfy and the sheets soft. Had that "old Mammoth" feel. A good thing. Love the old historical pictures in the room. Easy walking distance to the new McCoy square area.

Location and great reviews got me there... room was filthy and had been smoked in then a chemical spray had been applied to try and cover it up and the first thing you see when you enter the room is a faux leather chair with half of the vinyl missing... My wife immediately started sneezing and had an allergic reaction so we had to find other accommodations near by. The owner and staff are very friendly - just need to get things in order. Pretty bummed to have such a huge inconvenience cost me one nights rent but we could not stay.
