"Lovely room, clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I ate breakfast and evening meal in the hotel, and used the hotel bar, all of which was excellent. The best location for seeing the city in my opinion. My only 'negative' comment is that, in my room, the windows overlooked the park opposite and, because off single pane sash windows which didn't close fully, with only secondary glazing over these, it was quite noisy at night as those enjoying the night life returned to hail a taxi opposite the hotel. Other rooms could well be different and a lot don't overlook the park. "

"This is our 5th stay at the hotel. As always, we were met with very friendly and pleasant staff on arrival and departure. There was a slight issue with heating in the room but we were immediately supplied with a supplementary heater."
