Lovely grounds

Posted 15-Sep-2014
Pros: The grounds and activities were good.
Cons: Showers, and sound proofing.
Location: The hotel was in a location which was easily accessible to local towns by public transport, car, or coaches provided free by hotel.
The gardens, pools, food, and staff were good, but unfortunately our very small room ran alongside the noisy main road, and I found it difficult to sleep as traffic was constant. It was also hit and miss if we could have a decent shower as it kept getting hot then cold. I didn't feel that as a four star hotel, that it was in any way as good as other hotels i have stayed in with the same star rating.

Nice hotel, a bit old style and old furnitured. Good food, nice staff. beds are not comfort for sleeping and mosquitos are only damaging the whole feeling from a stay.

good hotel, handy for Puerto Pollensa & Alcudia

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Pros: spacious. it's a large, low level site. staff. facilities.
Cons: carpark quite tight - hire a small car! Can be a little noisy if you're in a room next to the bar areas (live music) but it doesn't carry on late.
Location: Mid way between Puerto Pollensa & Alcudia. Good bus connections. Market in Alcudia Sun & Tues and PP Wed. Good beaches. Parts of Alcudia a bit tacky
good facilities. Don't go if you want to be in the thick of it - need a car/take a bus to Puerto Pollensa or Alcudia. We were b& b but others were all inclusive. Good breakfasts. Free wifi. Be careful of mozzies in the grounds (& outside restaurant) as adjacent to the nature (bird) reserve. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Any queries/issues are dealt with straight away. Good small beach just over the road and hotel residents can take across sunbeds & brollies.

Pool holiday resort

Posted 04-Sep-2014
Pros: Rooms were cleaned regularly very well. Good pool though not heated.
Cons: More relaxed dining experience. Better attitude by staff - particularly staff in dining areas.
Location: Shingle beach nearby but nice sandy beaches a drive away and hotel provided bus service to hotel although we didn't personally use it.
Worst thing about this place was the dining experience. Dinner was meant to be up to 22.00 hours but it seemed that the staff wanted you in and out of the dining room as soon as possible and did not want you taking time over some wine at the end of a meal. They scurried about as if harassed but only had to serve drinks as it was self-service. They insisted on you sitting where they wanted - even if this were next to where they were slopping out food and crashing plates. Many a dinner ruined because they were crashing about around you putting out breakfast things - this at 22,00 hours. Not interested in the dining experience of the guests but their own convenience. One evening even had the waitress picking up our plates in a very bad tempered way from our table as if to say "get out". Would not recommend and would not return.

Dear Traveler, Thank you for your review regarding your recent holiday at the Hotel Club Pollentia Resort, we are always grateful to receive constructive criticism, as these prove to be vital to us on our road to the continued improvement of the service in our hotel. By 2015, the Maris area will be an Only Adults zone. So it will be quieter. One of our outside pools is heated, but just during the low season (during high season Mallorca is too hot). You can enjoy our indoor pool also. I was very sorry to learn that not all aspects of the holiday met with your expectations. We strive to offer the best possible quality of holidays and service, and it is disappointing to learn that you were not happy with the outcome of your holiday. I'm going to talk personally with the department managers in order to review our processes to make them even better. Thank you once again for taking the time to write to us, we will endeavour to ensure that any issues raised are resolved. We hope to see you again in our hotel, we would like to have a second opportunity to WOW you. Yours sincerely, Miguel Club Pollentia Resort

Super family resort

Posted 31-Aug-2014
If you want peace and quiet in august this is not really the place to go - although you can find quiet parts - at peak times the pool and dining both very busy For a family holiday with swimming and activities this place is great Excellent range of food, friendly staff and no need to get up early to nab a sunbed Well located by the sea

Well positioned and good for families

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Pros: Pools...couldn't fault the pools
Cons: general upkeep of some of the indoor areas
Location: Location is great, Alcudia one side, Pollenca on the other and beach over the road. It's a schlep from the airport but the Island is small.
Went for 3 days with a close girlfriend for a break from the kids. Lots of families (not a problem for us, we can zone out to other people's kids but not any use for people looking for a quiet break). Food was ok, not amazing...not like the pictures. Facilities are decent, spa pool is fantastic (when not full of kids) but gym and treatment spa run down and treatments only available at limited times, we wanted to do massages and facials but closed when we went to book. Also, lots of mozzies indoors at the gym and changing areas but not outside, so could do with some mozzie repelling devices in these rooms. Staff are lovely but you have to be pretty self motivated to make sure a waiter has noticed you. Overall, I expected higher spec for the price but we had a great time.

Lovely hotel well worth 4stars

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: Good all inclusive package. Excellent choice of food and drinks.
Cons: More Bar staff. Professional entertainment acts
Location: Isolated location but good bus service to both Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa
We are a family of four, with two boys aged 9 and 12. We have just returned from a 9 night stay at this hotel. Having stayed all inclusive several times before, we were pleasantly surprised. We did pay more than we usually would but it was well worth it. Staff were all really helpful and were always smiling. Food was amazing and pool area was beautiful. Plenty of sunbeds. Entertainment was just ok, mainly the animation team and consisted mostly of dancing - although they were all very talented, it did get a bit boring. Pool bar had a good choice of snacks to order off the menu and many branded ice creams were also included as were many premium wines. We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious with a mini bar stocked daily. Pool towels are also provided. My only negative points are that - bar service was slow. The waiters were slow to take your orders and very slow to bring the drinks. They all appeared to be working hard so I can only think that they were short staffed. Also most of the ladies toilets had faulty locks on the doors, which meant people barging in on you - especially the pool toilets. All in all a pleasant stay!

Very friendly, well laid out hotel.

Posted 25-Aug-2014
Pros: we stayed in the village rooms, which were laid out in areas of grass and ponds. this lent to a very pleasant atmosphere when leaving our room.
Cons: the open veranda led to concerns about security, which is more of a personal thing, then a deficiency of the hotel.
Location: alcudia is a walk away and well worth a visit, wonderful time walking through the narrow streets and on the walls.
this was a very friendly, well laid out hotel where everything was well planned and well delivered. every member of staff was friendly and willing to help make our stay the best it could be.

An excellent resort

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Pros: Good, varied food and facilities
Cons: It would be helpful to have a water fountain in the gym. The movement-sensors were not perfect, so the lights sometimes turned off if the room door wo
Location: The local bus goes every 15 minutes to Alcudia in one direction and Puerta Pollensa in the other, but the last bus is at 20:45 from Alcudia.
The accommodation is very comfortable and the facilities and food are very good indeed. The beach by the resort is not great, but the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to a different beach on six days (depart 10am, return 1pm, sign up evening before). However, the coach places filled quickly in August. Hotel staff were enthusiastic and helpful, and activities such as salsa dancing and aquarobics provided variety. The gym was well-equipped for a hotel.

Great Hotel and grounds, close to local ports

Posted 15-Aug-2014
Pros: Food, great pools, great staff, local towns for cafes and resturaunts and beaches.
Cons: Evening entertainment was not great.
Location: Port Pollentia Port Acludia (include old town with Roman Ruins)
Fantastic stay at hotel pollentia. me and my wife went for 5 nights away from our children and couldn't have had a better time. the hotel has everytihign you need on site, however both port Acludia and Port Pollentia are only a 5 minute bus ride away!! The all inclusive provides non stop alcohol (San Miguel on Tap) and three buffets a day, along with poolside ice ccreams and bar snacks galore. Would go back!!
