Great location in a lovely quite resort.

Posted 07-Jun-2015
Pros: Clean, quite and great location.
Cons: Bin in kitchen and washing up liquid/cloth could have been provided. Would rather that than the small shampoo and bath gel given.
Location: Tolos resturant, absolutely stunning food.
Rooms comfortable, basic but all you need. Pool area lovely, clean with plenty of sunbeads and umbrellas. Brill for all ages of children. Not to overcrowded and noisy, good variety of ages. Has a lanes pool if you require and a spa (we didn't use either though) Less than 5 mins walk to the beautiful beach. All flat walking into the town so great if your pushing a pram or wheelchair. Good choice of resturants in town.

Excellent hotel with facilities for all the family

Posted 02-Jun-2015
Pros: Choice of facilities for all the family - pools for the children, 25m pool and bike hire
Cons: The rooms were a little bit tired and door to the balcony were a bit difficult to open. It does need a bit of a refresh.
Location: You could see the sea from the pool area and was located a couple of blocks from the beach. Lovely safe, sandy beach and the quieter end of the town.
Fantastic hotel which was perfect for our young family, with family friendly pools. This was their first holiday on a plane and was a success all round. The girls loved the daily entertainment throughout the day and evening. The buffet breakfasts were lovely and fresh, with plenty to choose from each day. My husband made use of the bike hire facilities and had some fantastic cycle rides through the hillsides. I used the 25m pool which was heated and there was also a fully kitted gym and spa. We would definitely stay again.

Disabled unfriendly

Posted 30-May-2015
Pros: The peaceful settin
Cons: The disabled facilities although you have made a start as I saw room 17 which I thought was super
Location: The port and surroundings clean and tidy aund safe although some of the cyclists visiting were rude and thoughtless
Room 233 was clean and tidy but the step was very difficult for me as I am disabled and cannot walk up stairs due to a knee replacement which still not right long walk from the lift Staff very friendly and helpful Juan the night porter was especially so as I needed his services on the first morning I had to go to dialysis in Inca to translate the information to the ambulance driver my heartfelt thanks to him I first visited your hotel in the late eighties early nineties when I worked for global holidays part of inter sun I was reservation supervisor in the UK and my director was Hugh Morgan I hope too visit again Norma baldwin

Quiet apartments close to beach

Posted 10-May-2015
Pros: Quiet, pleasant, great pool complex and situated in a good area.
Cons: Apartments a little basic, and no ice cube tray in the fridge which impacted my Gin & tonic seriously on arrival.
Location: Spacious beach about 200 yards walk. Puerto Pollensa main strip and Harbour 10 minutes walk and lovely drive up to Cap Formentor lighthouse
Good size apartment, clean but basic. Lovely pool complex, ideal for children and very quiet so plenty of sunbeds to choose from. Short walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to the main strip. Lovely, quiet neighbourhood and just what was needed for a short break.

Hotel for family or sport

Posted 29-Apr-2015
Pros: Staff were always helpful and everything was clean, pools were crystal-clear.
Cons: Perhaps a teapot in the kitchen. Little else needed improvement!
Location: 150m from large beach and many shops, restaurants. Cycle hire from the lobby and a good starting point for cycling or walking.
Leisure facilities were outstanding, large leisure pool, 3 childrens' pools, one with nice primary age slides, plus a full-size heated exercise pool. Extensive fitness room. Our room had a separate kitchen, 2 comfy beds upstairs (lots of choices of room layouts available), TV that received half a dozen English channels (+Spanish, German, Italian, French). Buffet was moderate in size, but good value and far better than any we have had before in that food was always fresh and hot by frequent replenishment.

Excellent sports facilities. Hotel a little tired

Posted 14-Apr-2015
For cyclists and swimmers the sport facilities are excellent. The secure bike storage with pumps, workstand etc is first class. There is also a bike shop within the hotel building that sells kit and can carry out repairs. Retul bike fitting and running gait analysis is also available The outdoor heated 25m training pool is also excellent. Leisure pools are clean but not heated. The water was pretty chilly when I was there in early April. My son wasn't keen to venture further than ankle deep. The hotel rooms are in need of updating. Furniture was quite old and cupboard doors creaky. Drawers very sticky. There has clearly been money spent on the sports facilities. Maybe the rooms are next on the list. All rooms have a safe for which there is no charge. Breakfast and dinner is buffet style. If you're on a training camp this is a benefit because you can basically eat as much as you like for a flat charge. However the food doesn't change much from day to day. Quality is ok but not outstanding. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are heading to Pollensa for a cycling holiday then I would highly recommend this hotel. If you're just after a relaxing break there are probably hotels with more modern room facilities.

Dejligt ophold

Posted 27-Mar-2015 on Hotels
