Location is great and very pleasant staff and reasonable facilities. Lovely dining lounge overlooking sea.
Probs- not of the hotels making - Maldives ingeneral - , lax health and safety, everything priced (rip off prices) in US dollars. If you are in the middle of the pacific you are going to get fleeced - just be aware before you go and it will not spoil your holiday.
City airport hotel nestled in lush and tropical surroundings close to the sea and a ten minute boat ride from Maldives …More
Perfect hotel close to the airport. Clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. The staff at Hotel Octave are excellent - they collect you from the airport and drop you back off at no cost whatsoever and with a smile on their face. This involves a short ferry trip and then a short car journey therefore please tip - they're worth it!! We were upgraded and check in and check out was easy. Thank you to Hotel Octave for a nice first night in the Maldives!
Its a new hotel, sort of cute. Beach is very close by. The staff Melannie, Kalandar, Raju, Badal are all very helpful & take very good care. The food is very good & service is quick. A good deal at that price.
They greeted us with smiles and are very friendly. Rooms are generally clean and cosy. The hotel doesn't have lifts because its just a few floors high. Walking distance to the public beach where the waters are as clear as ever! The surroundings are still under development; therefore you'll see some undeveloped sights. It is pretty hot so don't forget to bring shades!
After an initial poor experience with the transfer from the airport, having to wait 45 mins for a journey of no more than 5 mins, the hotel exceeded our limited expectations ( having previously stayed in a transit hotel just around the corner). The staff were very willing to help, and even put on a breakfast for us way before their official time.
Our beach view room was compact, but clean and tidy.
The view was excellent- and even included a pod of dolphins swimming past and jumping out of the water!
We stayed at the Elite overnight before taking the various ferries to Maafushi. The staff were all helpful - not all understood English - the owner speaks very good English. Not too far from the airport - walkable I'd say but you're not allowed to walk through the airport so that wasn't a goer. We even went for a walk along the beach in the evening. The room was fine for an overnight but not sure it'd be good for a longer stay. Breakfast was ok too.
