We stayed in a Junior Suite and I highly recommend it. Our three windows opened up on to the square below, with its fountain and its view of the Basilica on the hill and it was just magical.
The whole hotel has an modernized 1920s decor...very chic, very cool. Room was well-appointed, fixtures are modern, everything was spotless.
Service was superb, even by European standards (US hotel service is largely garbage unless you're staying at 5-star places).
The food is supplied by a restaurant in the same building, so dining hours are a little limited, but we did have dinner in our room once and the food was very good.
This is now our "spot" when we go to Lyon. Perfect location, too. A short walk to Vieux Lyon and many attractions, good public transit access, nearby pharmacy, grocery store, and a zillion cafes and restaurants.
I could spend months here.
