Lovely stay in a beautiful city
A beautiful and clean hotel with very nice and helpful staff. a bit far from the city center,but a lovely walk is not bad. They can improve on the breakfast menu and selections.

we were placed in part of old building. it was very small room under the roof on the sixth floor. in the hallway and the room was bad smell of chemicals. we decided to stay for one night. I couldn’t sleep because of my asthma and allergy i have. about 2 am I came to person in the registry and asked to give us room in new building. she was very nice, helped us to get another room with no smell. she helped us to move there. We spent another night in another part of the building. Breakfast were good , people were nice. except the problem I got in the beginning of my staying. any strong smell give me trouble with my allergy. I ‘d advised them to take old carpets off and do not use smelly strong chemicals.

We were staying for a week so we wanted a spacious room and better accommodations. The hotel is rather new with conveniences we are accustomed to in the U.S. (Just remember to take your own washcloths. Most Ukrainian hotels do not supply washcloths!) The abundant hot and cold breakfast buffet was outstanding! The hotel was away from the city street sounds.

Taurus hotel definitely was lacking overall compared to our previous stay in Lviv at the bank hotel. The food and service were definitely a disappointment where when we stayed at the bank hotel the food was spectacular along with service. If we return we’ll definitely make sure to book ahead so we can stay at the bank hotel. Btw the reviews on this hotel were great but were very misleading.

The biggest issue of the property is a misleading description. On expedia, there is no information that pool is not included in the price. The area in which is the hotel is quite poor - it's quite empty, its also quite far away so it requires taking an uber. Definitely not worth paying, taking an apartment in the center makes more sense. Most options on breakfast are with meat, couple more cheeses and veggies wouldn't hurt.

Good modern hotel, geared towards business travelers but a good fit for anyone. Didn’t like that there was no coffee or tea in the room. But breakfast was very good.

Extremely noisy
The noise in all the hotel was so loud. Sunday afternoon musid did not stop and it was so noisy. But the worst came on Monday night: dance music until 12 pm at very high volume. I complained and they told me that they had a banquet and they could not lower the volume. I was in 5th floor and I felt in the middle of the dance floor

Great place to stay. I travel a lot and stayed in different hotels in Lviv and this is one of our top choice, and we are definitely will stay there in the future. Breakfast had many choices of food. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Excellent quality.
Taurus hotel was really surprisingly beautiful. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and great toiletries. What a treat! Sevice was outstanding. I called reception for a toothbrush and in a matter of seconds I received knock on the door with the requested item. The staff is helpful and kind. I was disappointed that the spa was not working but not needed for a short stay. The area is off the beaten path but an easy walk to the main square. The complex is impressive with two connected buildings and second hotel across the street. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choices and great coffee. Excellent value for this 5 star quality hotel . I will book again for my next stay in this wonderful town. Lviv has so much to offer.

Positives: well educated staff, no problem with communication in a couple languages. Only simple training would be beneficial for staff in restaurant how to welcome visitors to create more friendly atmosphere. Bad points: swimming pool and saunas for additional charges, restaurant offer only imported products

Easy to find but away from the centre of the city and they offered parking spaces in their car park. The bed and pillow was not very comfortable for me. The air conditioning was noisy and we could not leave it on at night. The room opposite also had a noisy aircon unit which meant we could not leave our window open. There was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom... One tiny shelf to hold toiletries. However the shower was good and spacious. The size of the room was comfortable but there were no facilities for making a hot drink. We chose this hotel for the swimming pool but it was disappointingly small - no more then two people at once and only half a dozen swim strokes end to end. The charge is 100 uah per hour but the pool is only open from 10am which rules out a swim before breakfast. Next time I would probably stay in the ibis which is more comfortable, has better quality breakfast and is more central.

Great Spa Hotel with Super Breakfast Buffet
Fantastic hotel with excellent buffet breakfast. Fast and polite check-in. Very comfortable bed and linens. The laundry service is outstanding, good prices and back within 4 hours. Well stocked mini bar. Had spa, jacuzzi, and massage on 1st level but didn't have time to enjoy. However, their pricing seemed to be lowest I have seen. Only drawback is it is 20-25 minute walk to city center. But, grab one of the cheap ($3 US) taxis and who cares.
