"We booked a double room.but when we arrived they had let our room out and gave us a twin room so i complained and they added free breskfast & drinks so we were fine . The room was large The beds were made into a double & was large & comfortable, room had iron & iron board , safe , fan , good tea tray & a seating area . "This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv.
So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was.
Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book.

"Such a good hotel with a great location. Stagg are always welcoming and freindly. The breakfast is always great. I didn't have dinner this time but have previously and thay was also really good. "
"Couldn’t have wished for a better overnight stay. Conveniently placed just off the A12 the staff were welcoming; pool and spa very good as was the food both for dinner and generous breakfast. Gluten free provision was excellent too. Top marks all round. "
