Renovations, uncomfortable room, rude staff

Pros: Free breakfast that was mediocre at best.
Cons: Friendlier staff, better room layout, better planning, check items in rooms to make sure they are in working condition
Location: Not much. There is a plaza across the street with some restaurants and shopping.
The hotel is undergoing renovations. That's certainly understandable. However, putting customers into a room where you plan to repave so that they can only park far away from their room and then make them walk over wet tar to get into their room is unacceptable. Plan better. Also, our phone was broken in our room so we couldn't make any calls or call the front desk. The remote control was broken as well. The pillows were insanely uncomfortable. The layout of the room was extremely inconvenient. The sink was right outside the bathroom door. So if anyone was standing at the sink trying to get ready while someone was coming out of the bathroom, they'd get hit by the door. The door was very squeaky as well so middle of the night bathroom trips woke up the whole room. Finally, even the wifi was bad. It would constantly slow down to the point where I would have better luck using an old-school dial-up modem. When my husband went to the front desk to complain about the repaving going on he was treated very rudely. I can definitely say we will not stay there again.

Checked in for 2 nights. Room was at the far end of the complex so the wifi didnt work well at all. AC shut down from the start. Maintenance said it was on energy saver but the display showed an error code. I googled it from my phone and it said that something was faulty. Major construction going on. Hotel is right across from a decent complex with some restaurants and stores. But because of the high traffic area, needed to walk half mile in either direction to cross the road to get to a place that was only 50 or 75 feet away. Again, not their fault, its just in a bad spot. It was cheaper than other area hotels. Breakfast was ok just dont show up after 9am. all gone. Front desk was apologetic about the ac and a refund of $40 was promised. Havent seen it yet.

Staff was not keen on services such as direction instructions and was a little impatient. Rooms are mediocre. Not recommended.

Borderline Basic

Pros: Good breakfast choices.
Cons: Everything else.
Location: Lots. It is in a busy commercial/residential area.
This hotel is in an upscale neighborhood where one would expect a bigger room, newer furnishings, a firmer bed, decent curtains and more than just the bare minimums. The asphalt around the rooms was cracked and soaked with grease and oil. The tv didn't even have ESPN. The room did come with a surprisingly good breakfast (choices), but when I phoned the front desk at 11:30 PM to schedule a wakeup call, no one answered. I tried several more times -- no one picked up so apparently the night shift was not working that night. Problematic..... With just a bit more investment Days Inn could make this decent but they apparently don't care.

Average, get what you pay for

Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Floors in the room were uneven, cleanliness of exterior of hotel - signs need to be fixed, parking lot dirty etc.
Location: Diner next door was good
Experience was OK. Staff was friendly, and rooms were fairly clean. Only issue was the cleanliness of the hotel as a whole. They appear to be going through some renovations, so I can't fault them for that. Overall, the stay was OK and what you would expect for the price you pay.

I have stayed at the Days Inn plenty of time and although they have some renovations going on they adjust to them and make the experience of the stay an incredible one.

Worth the money

The room was really clean the area was perfect and the staff very helpful. It's really worth it. I would definitely recommend this to a fiend. I loved it the room was big and very very clean. The only issue was that the AC makes a lot of noise but that's one of the smallest issues the rest of the room was awesome.
