Not what I expected in a package

The hotel was "ok". No one there but I was put in a room without amenities way down the hall. I was not given clear directions in how to find the room....especially when the numbers went the wrong way. The bartender was great but my glass was not terribly clean looking although I understand it was probably sterilized....probably. I was not thrilled with this room..........it was dated and I had a time figuring out the blind pulls. All in all.............it was reasonable (as part of a fly drive package) and very convenient. However, not my favorite place on the Island.

Pros: Leaving the place.
Cons: Anything.
Location: Commercial.
Horrible. Less than a few kilometers up the highway is a beautiful Hilton in the same range of price.

Location: Near airport, Apple-bees across the street.
Hotel out dated, No pay movies as indicated on web site, pool not in use, would not recommend right now.

45 min to check in. Getting breakfast was difficult. Understaffed but pleasant. The staff tried hard, seemed to be managed poorly

Front desk clerk needs customer service training..

Pros: rooms looked like they were re done.... but overall the place is a mess STAY AWAY
Cons: the help needs training with their customer service skills....
The front desk gal looked like she really does not like her job.... wouldn't even show us how to get to our rooms... her customer service skills bordered on hostile... manager was not much better... why do they complain about their jobs in front of customers? Hallways were smelly and loaded with trash... does anyone vacuum the rugs?

worst customer service EVER

I have stayed in some low budget hotels that had better service than this place. I have already told the people with upcoming nuptuals that this is NOT a place they want to refer to their +500 guests. First they gave us a room (at 2:30 a.m. when we got in) with 2 double beds. We had ordered a king and sofa bed room. They had 1 remaining on the second flooor (no elevator) but took it anyway. Had picked the hotel because it had a fridge and microwave;worng. At 3 am, requesterd fridge; requested 1 5 times before leaving for our event at 2 pm. Arrived back around 10:30, still nothing. No bags in ice bucket, no plastic cups replaced when room cleaned, 3 towels for 4 people (finally grabbed one off house keeping cart since never got one after calls. David, at front desk 10:30 pm Sat night finally followed through and found us a fridge after us losing food items had spoiled and I stood down at the desk until I SAW someone working on it; by then it was the principle of the matter. Got it to room around 11:00 pm. I guess if there were traveling teams and needed place to say for lots of kids, would be ok but not for normal everyday people with or without family. carpets need replacement, tub faucet felt like it would break off when trying to turn on shower; bathroom EXTREMELY small. I would rate it a 1/2- it kept us undercover and out of the rain. For the amount the rooms were, should have been much more than that. I have had 4-5s for $60-85 a night.
