"Pretty solid B&B. Friendly and welcoming host. Clean and comfortable. Lovely location, just a shame it was in the middle of a storm so couldn’t appreciate the area. Was upgraded to a slightly bigger room. Only real downsides for me is there was no desk or chair to work at and was asked to check out half an hour earlier than the booking stated. I would return, but would also appreciate a veggie/vegan breakfast being offered. "

"Had a wonderful three nights, comfortable bed, enormous continental breakfast which was fab, fascinating decor which we loved, big wet room with huge towels which were so cosy, slippers provided, in fact you couldn’t fault anything, beautiful gardens to relax in, great hosts, very welcoming. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Highly recommend 😄"

"I had a great stay at Southwell Stays. Very kind owner who communicated well. Very safe and central location in Southwell. Immaculately clean room and bathroom. Huge smart tv to enjoy whilst staying in room. Bonus of microwave and coffee station too. Very enjoyable stay"

"Great hotel with boutique rooms. The staff were simply amazing, so friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and although a bit tired in places was spotlessly clean. We upgraded from continental breakfast to full English and omg, it was so good and a very large portion. I must also mention the coffee which was, and this is no exaggeration the best we have ever tasted, it was from ‘Forge’ coffee roasters in Sheffield if you are interested. If we are ever in the area again we would not hesitate to...

"Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. "

"Room 8- the bathroom had a bit of a strange smell. This is just a comment, no a complaint. The main door doesn't always close properly. These are just little things- overall very good."
