This was our Second stay here for two nights, we come to see friends and family every now and then, we like it because it’s away from the hustle and bustle of Central London, lovely walks in nearby Richmond Park.
One of our evenings we choose to have dinner in the Restaurant, the haddock and chips was delicious as was the Polish Apple cake and ice cream, the bar/restaurant is laid back and comforting, the restaurant and bar area was full with locals (which to us is always a good sign) The Locals seem well off and expect good food and drinks, this pub/restaurant meets their expectations it would seem.
The surrounding area of where this pub is located in a ‘well to do area’.
Parking one’s car is ‘on street’ parking, the parking is free and finding a parking space is generally easy to find unless you arrive at around 3 o’clock when the nearby school has parents parked everywhere, on this occasion we parked further away, one hour later the street was quiet and parking was no issue again.
The rooms are sufficient and clean, for the price one pay's we are satisfied.
We will be back again.
