Dining
Portman Restaurant - Extensive breakfast buffet includes traditional English breakfasts, pancakes, pastries and fruit, cheeses, Scandinavian breads, and smoked salmon. Lunch and dinner menus offer modern British fusion cuisine. Sample dishes include Sautéed Scallops with Plantain, Crispy King Crab Lasagna (chef's signature dish) and Caramel Panna Cotta. Wood-and-marble floors and coffee-colored leather banquettes characterize the bright modern dining space. Large moveable planters break up the room and potted grasses add greenery to tables. In summer, the terrace is opened for dining.
Portman Café - The large marble fireplace with its antique clock is the main focal point of the lobby, where guests sink into leather Chesterfield armchairs and enjoy afternoon tea, a light snack, or specialty coffees. Heavy drapes frame the floor-to-ceiling windows; potted palms and antique mirrors add elegant, old-world touches. Open all day.
Lobby bar - Adjacent to the lobby, the hotel bar is open all day until late, serving drinks and coffees. Eye-catching modern paintings adorn the deep-burgundy walls; chocolate-colored leather chairs create a warm ambience. Live piano music Monday-Friday evenings.

“Below average hotel”
A reasonably well located hotel, but a bit overpriced for its quality. Tried to charge me for some meals which I did not have
“As Advertised”
This hotel is just what is advertised. A not expensive hotel in a very central London location. Service was perfectly acceptable. I was in London for one night with my son. Hotel served its purpose. I would not stay there for business or for a luxury holiday. Hallways and rooms are a little tired.
“Raddison Portman Square”
While the hotel has a four star rating, it is presnetly not operating at that level. This is in no way reflective of the staff who were all responsive to the issues. That said, the hotel rooms are not in the best of shape (aging furniture in need of some repair, scratched floors, just not as clean as they should be).
“Not too bad for London”
Location and appearance of hotel really good. Room was OK, expensive for what you get, but that's London for ya.
“Not for a family trip”
The location of the Hotel is very good for travelers who are shopping in Oxford street. But the facilities are not suitable for family trip. The breakfast is excelent. The maintenance team responce is extremly fast and positive atitude. The security measures are good although the room cleaner left the door open one day! I might consider this hotel for my next visit only if going alone or with my wife
“Should try to mainatain quality”
this is fourth year we stay at portman radisson however we noticed hotel not as efficient as in the past. WE had several problems with AC, internet, and phone lines. Maintenance was slow. WE hope management overcomes service problems as hotel is one of the coziest and nicest in London and it would be a shame to have to change next year.
“try to avoid”
1-rooms are not ready until 4 o clock in the after noon , 2 hours after our arrival. so waiting time 2 hours to check in. 2-disturbing noise outside the widow due to normal aircondition functioning machines. This room is substituted 2 nights later by another one. 3-the concierge is not found neither in the morning nor in the evening so we were advised by one of the hotel's receptionnist to get help at the hotel next door . And there we found a concierge who helped us in getting tickets to the theatre. 4-the mattress of one of the beds is deteriorated and should be replaced .
“Typical London hotel. Rooms small and uninspiring, decor dated but location was good.”
SAS Radisson hotel was an ideal base for a short business trip in London. The hotel is in a good location at the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street and only 5 minutes walk to the shops. The hotel rooms are as you would expect for London, small and the hotel lobby belies the dated decor of the rooms. There is no room to put up an ironing board therefore a dated wall mounted troused press is provided - by no means capable of removing the creases from clothes. One of the lifts refused to work with the room keycard and this problem was not rectified during our stay despite this being brought to the attention of the hotel. The bar staff were very pleasant and the concierge was very helpful in booking tables at restaurants and vehicles for the airport.
“Radisson Blu Portman Hotel à Londres proche de Hyde park”
Hôtel proche de Hyde park (marble arch) et Oxford street. Grandes lignes de métro tout près. Confort, propreté et accueil très bon. Petit déjeuner varié. Diner pas top par contre, je ne conseillerais pas le restaurant.
“Empfehlenswert”
Hotel in guter Lage, sauber, komfortabel, vielleicht ein bischen zu teuer
