“Refurbishment work interrupted sleep - should have been told if this when booking..”
Decent mid-range hotel in a very convenient location close to Victoria Rail and Underground station - spoilt by ongoing major refurbishment work that disturbed a much needed sleep. The problem is that, by paying up-front with Expedia, they cannot then offer a discount on the charges (though did provide a free breakfast instead). It would have been nice to know the hotel was undergoing renovation at the time of booking - so we can make an informed decision....perhaps something Expedia should consider noting on their hotel details...
“Very rude and unreliable front desk service”
I stayed at the hotel for 14 days and would not go back!! The front desk staff is extremely rude and very unhelpful and unreliable!! Also for the average price per night - the hotel does not provide a 4star service - the hotel lobby is just terrible and very lousy definitely not matching the standard! There are definitely better hotels in the surrounding area so look somewhere else!
“Hotel near Victoria Station”
Our only negative was that the television in our room on the return to London did not work very well, The picture kept breaking up.
“Hidden secret”
What a great location, close to the tube, theatre, shops, Buckingham Palace the lot, all within walking distance. The staff were polite and friendly and the Hotel very clean and comfortable. Will stay at the Hesperia London Victoria again.
“good hotel, very convenient location but building work going on that we weren't told about”
hotel room was good, staff friendly and location great but building work going on that affected entrance/reception area - shouting over noise to check in and strong fumes. thankfully, didn't affect room, but was very disappointed to arrive and find building work - think we should have been notified about this when booking.
“Good as a business stopover”
Very good hotel, only let down by the comfort of the bed that provided little support and felt that it needed replacing and the fact that I had to get the room key card reset twice in two days which was a little frustrating being on the sixth floor. Was not able to connect to the free wifi, which may have been because I was on the sixth floor. Room quality and decor very good otherwise however. Didn't eat at the hotel, due to other commitments. Good location for business since right next to Victoria, with views out over the station. Would recommend as a business stopover although did benefit from a secret rate.
“Good value, but noise from the station can be a problem”
Good value for the money. Room size not bad for central London. Room furnishings were worn, but it was clean. Avoid the rooms facing Victoria Station if possible. The night I stayed there an electric forklift started working steadily at 3:30 am, making a beeping sound exactly like a digital alarm clock.
“Great location”
This hotel is located in a wonderful area! Right next to a major tube station in london and multiple restaurants.... but the room itself is ok. Small room with so so service. But honestly... the location more than makes up for the room!!!
“Good location”
Great place to stay. It would be better, if they have breakfast included. Very clean and comfortable. the only problem was no WI FI on the 9th floor and i had to go to the lobby, which had good connectivity.

This hotel is literally next door to the Victoria train station which is extremely convenient! For those travelers who aren't familiar with the area; from the Underground just go towards the National Railway exit and go out the exit door nearest to Starbucks. When you go outside, the hotel will be right in front of you! We were on the 4th floor and never heard any traffic or train activity. We arrived later in the evening so our first meal was at the hotel. The room service menu has many options and we enjoyed our food. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and eager to help! The concierge was able to help us arrange for transportation to Heathrow via a private car and it only took about 30 minutes to get there. We were very happy with our stay and we would definitely consider staying at Hesperia again!
