“We won't stay at Holiday Inn Express sight unseen ever again”

We have always trusted that Holiday Inn Expresses were a good bet. Not Anymore !!! This Hotel was a major disappointment. The Carpet in the room was absolutley shameful. I can't believe that the mangement would allow this. My wife and I were completely disappointed. The Carpet made the entire room seem dirty. The door was ill fitted and let light into the room and the walls were paper thin. Couldn't wait to leave and will never stay there again a complete rippoff.

“Threadbare carpet”

The first thing we noticed was the extremely worn out carpeting which made the whole room look dirty and smell bad. The door to the room did not fit inside the door frame properly so light shown into the room all night and we could hear every word people said who were standing out in the hallway, including young children running back and forth early in the morning. The breakfast was ok, but not great. I would NOT stay there again and I would NOT recommend this motel to anyone else.

We stayed at the Best Western in Lompoc 2 years ago and it was very nice.

“Excellent Hotel in Lompoc”

The convenience in location of this Holiday Inn Express in Lompoc makes it an excellent stay. Various restaurants and a Starbucks are within walking distance, and the beach was only a 20 minute drive. The hotel itself is clean, neat, and tidy and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. When I approached the hotel front desk staff member about needing to have my checkout time changed to an hour past the normal checkout time, she complied immediately, and with a smile. I greatly appreciated this accommodation and would recommend this Holiday Inn Express to any Lompoc travelers!!!

“Loved it!”

The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and everything smelled good, even walking through the halls. The free breakfast in the morning was great. And, the rooms were quiet at night! I would stay here again!

“Nice quiet relaxing stay”

After a long drive the Holiday Inn Lompoc offered exactly what we needed. Very quiet room, comfortable bed, and clean. In the morning the complimentary breakfast was convenient, quick, and satisfied the palate. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had dinner at Restaurant 4300 at the Golf course. I have never had a restaurant staff try so hard to go out of their way to please their guests. We we welcomed the minute we walked in and waited on passionately. Michael is truly a treasure of a waiter. The food was excellent. Showcasing the local wines. Overall a wonderful dinner experience.

“Nice and Comfortable Place to stay”

Hotel was very clean. We enjoyed having the around the clock coffee and then they servce cookies at night. The breakfast spread is very good. Great stay and nice service. Hotel was busy but very quiet.

La Botte Italian Restaurant has the best Clam Chowder in the West.

“Would definitely stay there again!”

We had an early morn ck-in and Agnes at the Front Desk pleasantly greeted us & made an impression on us; ditto on early morn ck-out! The room was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed our breakfast with it's varieties and the evening snacks. The pool was well upkept. Lots of parking stalls and good security features to enter the building to get to your room. Would definitely stay there again if the price is right again!

“Good Value, Nice Hotel”

We used this hotel as a base for 2 nights to explore the Santa Barbara and Solvang areas on Memorial Day weekend. The rates were so high in the SB area so this hotel was a good value and the drive from Lompoc was a pleasant one. Good breakfast, really comfortable bed, nice shower, great flushing toilet, hot drinks available 24 hours a day, cookies available in the evening, nice front desk staff, plenty of towels and toiletries, adequate amount of wide parking spots. Still have old-style tube TV, but that didn't really matter to us.
