“Nice Hotel in charming PA town!”
My Husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lititiz, PA for 5 nights in November 2011. We were in town to spend time with family. The hotel over all was very clean and nice looking. The first night we arrived in our room, exhausted after traveling all day, and when we turned back our sheets we found red spots on the top sheet that looks like blood. They were small, but we notified the front desk and they took care of it for us. We booked our room just over a month in advance, but there was a soccer tournament in town, so the only room left was a handicap room, which ended up being fine. Previous posts had mentioned that the walls were thin. We were on the 1st floor across for the pool/workout area and we didn't hear anything! One thing to keep in mind is that not all rooms have a fridge. I had assumed that since I had stayed at other HIE's that it was standard to have a fridge. The front desk did offer to let us store things in a large fridge behind the desk, but we never did. Breakfast was good. There was a good variety of cereal, yogurt, bagels/muffins, eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, etc. They also had your standard juice, coffee, and milk. Overall, the hotel was great! We will be staying here again for future trips to Lititz. It's also in a great location - Pizza Hut is right across the street. Target, Starbucks, McDonalds, and more are just down the road. The famous Wilbur Chocolate is also just a few minutes away.
“Only If You Have Other Needs For Lodging”
Had to stay in this hotel, since we needed Animal Friendly and Handicapped Accessibility. Would not stay here if I did not need those added amendities, as it is not up to par. Nice pool, jacuzzi, exercise room, breakfast, but general overall cleanliness was lacking.

We liked the pool, and location of this hotel. Our only problem was that we were staying in a smoke-free room. As soon as you get off the elevator you think your smelling smoke. They apparently tried to disguise the smoke with a perfume spray, which made the smell worse. The ventilation system, or air circulation was bad.

Good property, a little bit away from town center but was right next to my family. Room was in good shape, all was as usual for a Holiday Inn Express.

It's very difficult to find a hotel that will accommodate a family with more than two children. This room had two queen sized beds and a pull out sofa bed (either queen or full). We were also able to set up a pack and play for our two year old with a little moving of furniture. There was a nice continental breakfast every morning; however, I would agree with others that if you want to take advantage go early. Also the staff wasn't great about replacing food as it ran out...then again it was included, so it wasn't a big deal. We ended up bringing food up to our room as they didn't have many tables. The pool was small, but really nice for families, it was only 5 ft at the deepest part. The room was clean and so were the halls and bathrooms. The staff was very quick with check-in and check-out. We enjoyed the stay and thought it was a great choice for the money for a larger family (we are a family of 6).
