"Memmo Alfama is truly a hidden gem. The terrace/restaurant had a million dollar view overlooking Alfama, paired with amazing food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had what we needed. The location was perfect for our stay, so close to so many major landmarks and allowed us to walk to pretty much anywhere we needed to go. The room was so clean, we got the partial ocean view balcony and it was truly magical. I cannot say enough for much we love this...

"Great location. It is a little awkward having the reception on the 2nd floor and not having a receptionist there at least during normal business hours. The property is showing sings of wear and tear. The faux leather on the headboards is peeling. It got stuck to my back. The shower faucet could not be adjusted, but water would come so we still managed to take a shower. "
