Excellent hotel and great visit
Really nice hotel. Very well located in the old town and easy walk from Lille Europe and Lille Flanders train stations. Also has parking nearby. Lots of restaurants and bars very close. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception 24hrs a day.

Hotel very clean. Nice complimentary body wash and shampoo (l'Occitane). Unfortunately the room (double) was a bit pokey which meant that to get anywhere you have to shuffle around. No air con so little control over temperature of the room. Despite being advertised as having a desk, this was not the case. There would have been no room in the room to include a desk. There was something like looked like a quarter-sized bureau with no chair... perhaps that's what they meant. Also no kettle. Due to the small size of the room, the wardrobe was half size deep and couldn't really hold any clothes.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the shower was amazing. The reception staff were super friendly and very helpful. Location wise you are near everything. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely hotel in the old part of town. I had a view of the church outside my window. Room was small on the fourth floor, good bath and shower, bed comfortable. Breakfast is available however I choose to eat out. I enjoyed my time here and would gladly return.

The hotel is nice, with some delightful quirky touches. However, there's a bar somewhere nearby which made the room really noisy - and still going past 2am on Sunday morning. Not wanting to stop people enjoying themselves, but some soundproofing would help! Also, it's difficult to park outside, so perhaps a free pass to the nearby underground parking?

Excellent location in quaint Old Lille
The Hotel is comfortable and clean and the staff are very helpful and very welcoming. It can be a bit noisy when the bars close or there are people drinking outside in the summer.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Room was a bit small but had eveything you needed. It was a bit noisy whenever anyone was in the floor landing and opening and closing doors. Great location.

Good hotel in a good location
Hotel was very clean and tidy. Room a little on the small size but for the price good value. Only downside is that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot in the room due to the hot weather. Opening the window was fine but if you're not use to a city noise environment then sleeping can be disturbed. However, the hotel is in a good location and the staff were very helpful and wanting your stay to be a good one in Lille.

Beautiful hotel in the old part of Lille
First class staff, so friendly and helpful in beautifully decorated hotel and wonderful location. Air con in bedrooms would have been wonderful as extremely hot whilst there. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choices to help yourself to. Good value and a very pleasant stay.

Room only big enough to walk around 2 sides of the bed. No wardrobe. Only one bath towel. No instructions on how to make a call on the phone or ring reception for another towel. Asked for a good restaurant recommendation. Restaurant was very low quality.

Hello, many thanks for your comments. I take in note your remarks. For the towels, in all the room, there are 2 towels more ( 1 big and 1 small ) - If not, it's not normal and I am so sorry. In each room there is a directory book in wich you have all the information for the telephon, breakfast, so and so. And for the restaurant, we have suggested a restaurant in the old town, perhaps it was not what you want and sorry but it's not our fault if it's not what you are looking for. Have a very nice day. Nice hotel in the perfect location.
This hotel is right in the centre of the old town, near everything you want to see and do in Lille. The rooms are small but cozy and clean with comfortable beds. The perfect place for a weekend brake.

Never again.
This hotel is situated in the heart of lille. If you have a street facing room., prepare for the early morning call from the street cleaners from 6am. Breakfast is very basic. No hot food at all and have to make your own tea. The room was very clean however and the bed comfortable. The concierge are helpful though in recommending places to eat and giving local information.

Great Location and Really Nice Hotel
Everything was great. Service friendly and helpful. Location was great. Breakfast very good. Bed very comfortable. Could not have been better. 5 minute easy walk to Grand Place and all the action, but not in the middle of everything..a nice distance away. No air conditioning was the only setback, but had a comfortable stay as the evening cooled off nicely and street noise quieted. Would definitely stay again.

The staff were very nice and polite but the room was very uncomfortable and at night it was very noisy. There furnishings were very paltry, the towels and bedding were thin and uncomfortable, the hairdryer was pathetic, the room was sparsely furnished and there was no kettle or ironing board. The shower head fell on my partner's hand and caused her quite a painful injury. The hotel was too expensive to be this cheap.

Good location but candlelight
The hotel is very chic, ideal location to visit Lille and go out to eat, drink and shop. Room was a bit sma but the bed big and comfortable. My main complain is the light, we could barely see inthe bathroom as there are only two lights next to the mirror. For a woman, it is imposible to put your make up on. Same poor light in the beroom. Apparently clean but if you get close it is very dusty in the corners, also bath and screen needed a proper wipe. The lack of light was masking out...Really annoying you can't see in the bedroom and inthe bathroom so you can't get ready properly! Staff friendly. Corridors very noisy as I was woke up by next door room several times. Not a good night sleep.

The staff really made a difference because I needed help with getting mail in advance of my stay and also store luggage there (train luggage storage was full) even though we had checked out the day before.

Sadly a double bed in a standard single room leaves no room to turn around. I must remember to book a double room for single occupancy. Otherwise excellent service with first class breakfast. I have used this hotel several times and I hope to use it again.

Centrally located
near a lot of restaurants. I have never before stayed in a hotel where the beds were 12 inches from the wall and I had to walk sideways to get past! The room at the back of the building was very quiet and the beds very comfortable. There is a very big lounge area on the ground floor but as they serve only breakfast its only purpose seems to be a waiting area for guests although I suppose it could be used for meetings of a few people. The major problem they have to deal with is breakfast. It is buffet style with adequate choice however the servicing is poor and properly down to unsupervised staff so it should be fixable. E.g There is a single coffee pot for guests to serve themselves but when empty the staff have to be told. Individual fruit bowls were very popular but not replenished. There is a rechauffer with scrambled eggs and bacon but either it was broken or not switched on because the food was cold unless you got to it when it was replenished. These are just examples. The breakfast room is not large and we witnessed guests having to wait for a table. We stayed for three days and saw a gradual deterioration in breakfast so as we left I found the manager and he promised to fix the breakfast problems. I may well go back in the future to see whether there is an improvement because it has a good location and I should like to stay there.

Clean renovated hotel.
Pleasant hotel. The rooms are very small, but clean. We only stayed one night at the beginning of a tour and a night at the end of the tour. We would not have wanted to stay longer because the rooms were so small. As well, the bathrooms were very small, but clean.

Right in the heart of old town
Excellent front desk service. Beautifully decorated rooms. Perfect old city centre location. Parking out front, free overnight, pay and display during business hours. Rooms are cramped, breakfast is awful. They didn't have the room we booked when we got there. Only had a double, not two twins. But if visiting Lille again would stay there. Staff were so nice.
