A wonderful Paradore. A lovey building with access to part of the ancient convent and enclosed garden adjoining it. Easy private parking behind. Easy walk into the old part of Leon. Allow at least two nights to enjoy the tapas bars and hotel restaurant.

This hotel is exquisite inside and out. Our rooms were beautiful from the modern bathrooms to the luxuriously comfortable beds. Worth wandering around the whole building as it is its own art gallery with beautiful sitting areas all around. Excellent location. Look forward to coming back.

The hotel is the great combination of modern and ancient，such wonderful architectures. Love the huge room，simplify deco，cleaness，great art piece all around the hotel and San Marcos museum next door. love to come back some day in the future.

Had a great experience, in this beautifully renovated building! The only disappointment is that the main lounge area is a bit too modern for me and does not have the Parador- monestery ambience.

An extremely lovely hotel.
A superb hotel with extremely comfortable beds. Very slick and everything you would expect. The only downside was the very modern interior design masked the beauty of the building. It was also slightly outside the main tourist area which meant it was very quiet but the stroll to the town might have felt a bit unfriendly at night.

This was a spectacular property. Beautiful rooms and beautiful surrounds in this former monastery; beautifully restored and with lovely amenities.

The premise is astoundingly beautiful, historical, and interesting. However, location is a little further from center of old town (15 minutes walk - hard in hot weather, probably not an issue otherwise). The rooms are modern and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much.

The modern conversion of this monestry is stunning. Artwork everywhere, moderist rooms, access to beautiful views of the church and the conversion of some rooms into modern hotel areas is incredible. Sadly Paradore staff do, at times, seem to be informed to be surly and unhelpful, a pattern repeated across their establishments.

This is a WOW place to stay in.
This is an amazing place to stay and not too costly for what you get. The beds are comfortable, the rooms spacious and the ambience wonderful.

This was one unique hotel. Never experienced a hotel within a museum. Awesome, the hotel and city of Leon were just perfect. So close and walkable to everything

Amazing historical stay on the Camino
Truly amazing hotel in a unique historical building right on the Camino. This is a splurge for many pilgrims but highly recommended. The restaurant is fantastic and staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need a rest day on you Camino, take it here!

Lovely parador.

One of the most spectacular paradores. Peaceful cloister is very special. Excellent food and super comfortable. Newly refurbished.

This parador is outstanding. It is beautifully decorated combining the old building of the San Marcos Museum and the newly renovated building. The rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is very good and full of options. This is THE hotel to stay in Leon.

A Very Special Place
What a find! Such a unique place to stay. We couldn’t believe it when we drove up to what looks like an unbelievable museum. Dinner was lovely and breakfast was included and delightful.

Wonderful property. It’s like a museum. Full of art and history. Highly recommended Great food, everyone is very nice and professional One of the most beautiful “parasites” of Spain. Recently renovated so everything g is new!!

Parador will be undergoing a well needed 2-year restoration, and will be closed. So needless to say, place somewhat run down, carpets filthy. Room had to walk a long long way, after hauling luggage across cobblestone parking around corner, through the glen, to what appeared to be entrance, exhausted at this point. . . .No one around to help.
