Temperatures reached 38 degrees and the pool area and decking had plenty of shade and beautiful views looking over the river in the distance. There were two BBQ areas and the kitchen had everything you needed. You could walk to the town where there were a number of restaurants and a short drive across the river to a local supermarket. "Lovely gite, nice couple very friendly but unfortunately whilst decor etc was lovely for me the basics need tweaking a bit ie: no freeze box, no blinds in the bedrooms, no WiFi and I had to climb into the bath to set the taps for the children to have a shower/bath which I found quite difficult with an arthritic hip. "The photos do not do this property justice. Never stayed in a French village before so a bit reticent however what a lovely place. Secure, private, yet open and spacious.
