I am disappointed with this review. I contacted you after your holiday and you said the bedding, sheets and pillows did not smell clean and fresh, you didn't like the kitchen cupboards, you could not read the oven dials, that the TV was too small and that the umbrella on the balcony was hard to open. You said "so all in all, the lot". I found this very harsh and I will explain why. When we visited ourselves in February we purchased new bed linen and new towels. A new oven and hob is being fitted between 8th and 12th April. The umbrella we found to be perfectly ok. We have very few reviews on the website recently due to Covid and because a lot of our guests are repeat visitors who prefer to book directly and it is only when you book through the website that a review can be made. I had repeat guests staying after you left and I contacted them to get their feedback. This was their fifth visit. They were more than happy again with Verde 15 and are planning their next visit. We feel the kitchen cupboards are fit for purpose and are in keeping with the character of the apartment. Likewise we want to keep the pine furniture for the same reason. We are reluctant to lose the character by replacing the furniture with something modern. When we visited ourselves in February, we painted the bedroom and the balcony area. We purchased new bed linen and towels as well as new kitchen utensils. In the last few years we have replaced the patio doors, fitted new skylights that can now be opened (unlike the old ones), replaced the bedroom window. In February we had a gate fitted at the top of the steps to make the balcony totally private. I still believe Verde 15 is a superb apartment and very reasonable at an average cost of £60 per night (for up to six people). You also have the benefit of a south-facing balcony and a lovely sea view. In saying all of this, I am disappointed you were unhappy and perhaps a modern hotel is more suitable for your holiday needs.

Thank you Joanne for your feedback. I will look into the pan situation ASAP as there are new pans in locked storage in the apartment. I purchased 4 new beach towels in October last year (red/white and navy/white) and I bought them as luxury towels. They should still be in good condition but again will have this checked. The cooker is fully functional and well maintained/regularly cleaned so this item will not be replaced in the meantime. I respect your opinion however, as it is an older model compared to today's newer designs. Verde is the only heated pool as per details on our website and I suppose in March a cold pool is not liked by many children or even adults. I hope you found Verde 15 good value for money, considering its overall comfort and lovely panoramic sea views. I am glad you enjoyed your holiday with your grand-daughter and hopefully we will be able to get the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.. Suzanne

Thank you very much for your traveller review. It is much appreciated and hopefully will help other potential guests decide if Verde 15 is suitable for them. We may look into the possibility of installing Sky at some stage, but it is not a priority just at the moment as guests very seldom mention it. I hope the lack of Sky did not affect the overall enjoyment of your holiday. I will possibly add some information about minimal English-speaking channels to the information I send guests before they go on holiday and perhaps suggest that guests take a few DVDs if they want to have a relaxing evening in the apartment. Downside is that the house was not cleaned very well. Dust and dirty spots on the floor in many places. I accept your feedback and I will take it up with the management company who look after our apartment and prepare it for our guests. I take a lot of pride in Verde 15 being pristine for guests. I hope you will come to Verde 15 again when hopefully you will find the apartment to your full satisfaction.
