Spacious first floor one bedroom apartment directly on the first lagoon beach in El Cotillo, all rooms have stunning beach & sea views. Marfolin 16 is a unique and spacious 1 bedroom apartment, directly on the El Cotillo lagoon beach with stunning; sea, sky and beach views from the private terrace, master bedroom & even from the bed and shower!
The 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom beach apartment is spacious and modern with complimentary furnishings, in the quaint coastal fishing village of El Cotilllo, Fuerteventura. Part of a small development of only 36 apartments, situated right on the beach with its own pools and gardens. With breathtaking views of the lagoon beaches and the Atlantic Ocean from all rooms. Sunsets from the terrace are second to none as the sun sinks into the Atlantic.
The private west facing terrace with stunning views of the ocean is accessed directly from the living area. The open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen and lounge, with comfortable sofa. The bedroom has a Queen size bed facing the picture window looking out to the lovely beach and sea beyond, and a fully tiled, very spacious, en-suite bathroom also with 2 windows with beach and sea views. This apartment includes a separate walk-in closet and dressing area directly off the bedroom. For a 3rd guest the sofa in the lounge opens out into a comfortable double bed settee, which is easily put away for day time use.
If the terrace is not enough, or a swim in the sea is not on todays agenda, the Marfolin complex has a large secure 250sqm swimming pool (unheated) for use by guests only, with a second shallow pool adjacent, its ideal for even very young children as neither pool is too deep. Adjacent to the pool is a large gated sunbathing area equipped with sun loungers, pool showers, toilets and safety equipment. All within attractive gardens with gates leading directly onto the beach.
Location:
The apartment is located on the outskirts of the traditional fishing village of El Cotillo. And yet the historic town centre with its old harbour is only a 5-minute walk away, where there are some of the best Tapas and fish restaurants on the island. A fantastic French bakery is in the immediate vicinity (2 minutes’ walk), as are small cafes and eateries for all tastes and budgets. The supermarket is also 5 minutes’ walk, adjacent to small shops and boutiques which invite you to shop for local produce and gifts. Doctors, Chemist and cash machines are all very close by.
The airport is 40 minutes away by car, we recommend a hire car or our airport transfer service to your apartment door. 15 minutes’ drive takes you to Lajares, a favourite place for Ex pats to take up permanent residence, it has a cosmopolitan & hippy chique feel while keeping its Spanish charm
10 minutes further takes you to Corralejo, the main resort in the north of Fuerteventura, with an abundance of local and international shops, restaurants and bars. Dinner followed by an hour or two wandering the old town and harbour is a favourite local past time.

Enjoy spectacular sunsets in the evening, just for you on the terrace or with the locals in one of the restaurants on the harbour.

Superb location and views
A beautiful apartment with everything provided ..(.more spacioys than photos suggested..).cool bag beach chairs and umbrellas! Well equiped kitchen confy beds SUPERB bathroom ...Too sit on that terrace watching the beach life was great and the added bonus if a pool too ...best of both worlds !! Ursula and James are delightful people who where so helpful and friendly and gave us lots of helpful tips for places to see and restaurants etc. My only one negative ( and its not the aoartments fault ) was the noise of the extractor fan from restaurant below ( but not heard on terrace ) and the noise from them when setting up and closing down ...but no nouse overnight so pleaceful sleep .so hence the 4 stars not 5 overall

Lovely apartment with stunning views and position
We loved our stay. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, and very well equipped. But it is the position overlooking the beaches that makes it special. Time spent sitting on the terrace, or on the bed, looking at the ever changing seascapes was the best bit of th holiday.

Brilliant from the start! Ursula was waiting for us and was so lovely explaining everything. The apartment is very clean, quiet and well equipped. Loved the communal pool and a great choice of eateries at the bottom of the complex. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone :)

Excellent location for beach holiday with bonus pool
Marfolin 16 was an excellent choice for our holiday, the beach is literally on your doorstep. The apartment was well equipped in a wonderful location (we will recommend to our family and friends and will stay again). There is a number of bars and restaurants catering to all tastes within the apartment complex. Would suggest a car hire if wanting to get out and about.

Our favourite ‘come back’ place. Determined to visit again this year. We had booked 2 trips before the pandemic broke. Having had to lose one trip we really wanted this one. We contacted the local reps and property owner and they kept us well informed on the changing local situation. Not disappointed. Thoroughly loved our visit Accommodation excellent. Fabulous beaches and sunshine. Quieter than usual of course with sad sights of places that have had to shut down. If there is any chance we can return as we usually do next year we will. Felt safer than at home.
