First time to Kume Jima. Hotel food was very good. I would book a room on the water side. View is spectacular!!! English speaking staff was supportive when needed.

Stayed there in the offseason (February). It's a great place for relaxing and rejuvenating. Public bath, masseuse, massage chairs on the second floor. Restaurant is a little more on the expensive side but it's really nice food. The facilities and rooms themselves are not ultra-modern but things are very clean and tidy. Everything seems very organized and the staff are super friendly, with English-speaking staff as well.

プールがとてもキレイで良かったです。また併設のレストランもお食事がとても美味しかったです。 ホテルからコンビニまでは歩くとすれば30分くらいかかるので、お食事はホテル内で済ませるのが無難だと思います。

Great resort
Excellent customer service and tasty food. Great place to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the massage chairs on the second floor as well. Even though the hotel is beginning to show it's age, it is well maintained. I will stay here again.

Staff are wonderful...!! Excellent service and hospitality. Great food and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Property is a bit dated but very clean generally. Nice pool and beach is clean with no trash... beach is small but clean.

The hotel rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast is great but lacks diversity. Every day the same. The onsen is great. Credit card payments in foreign currency are not possible. The pool is too cold. Location is very close to the airport but that is not a major disturbance. Kumejima is a small, little developed island. Few restaurants and places. None nearby. Taxi/ car needed.

The giant common bath on the 2nd floor is amazing (there is a carbonated water bath that is refreshing). The free massage chairs outside the bath is a great touch. The in suite bathroom is a bit plastic-y for the nicer type of hotel that Cypress is trying to be and our toilet flush was LOUD! The food in the on site restaurants are expensive so we drove out to the other side of the island daily to eat dinner but if you aren't drinking for dinner or are ok with cab or drive-home services, this isn't an issue. The view and pool are amazing, and their rental bikes, as well as airport shuttle are nice conveniences.

Cypress Resort
We enjoyed our stay at the Cypress Resort! Our room was quiet, clean, and fairly large (by Japanese standards especially!) with a wonderful sea view. While a bit pricey (¥2200), we had a nice buffet breakfast with a decent selection of both Western and Japanese options, including free-pour Prosecco to make mimosas. The public bath was a bit small but was nice nonetheless. We spent a day lounging by the pool in the comfortable loungers, although the pool itself was a bit too cool for me (others were in the water). It’s not really possible to swim in the ocean in front of the hotel, as it’s quite shallow, even at high tide. At low tide, there are just shallow tidal pools showing. The one downside to the hotel is its location, as there is nothing else nearby. If you don’t have your own transportation, it makes for a challenge as it limits you to eating at the hotel restaurant (FYI: you can arrange free pick-up/drop-off at the port or airport by phoning the hotel. I had a Japanese friend do this for me as I wasn’t sure how good the staff’s English would be. While it didn’t seem like any were fluent in English, they did know enough to be able to communicate though.). We ended up booking a car for a few hours through the hotel and would highly recommend doing this as the island has a lot of interesting sights to see!

Beautiful location. Very tranquil. Room needs updating; carpet and couch stained. The hotel has bikes but you have to pay to use them which isn't typical in other places I've travelled. For the price of the room, it should be included. This location is amazing.

Great nech resort
Great restaurant and personell, they really try to do everything to customer's satisfaction. Access to beach is great. If you'd like to try restaurants and bars in the city, you can take a bus (1€ per person) or a taxi (ca. 8€). I highly recommend this hotel. The stay was very relaxing.

Very Quiet
This resort is right on the beach, with all ocean view rooms. It's VERY quiet. We hardly saw anyone during our stay. Food was great, very yummy. I'm not sure what the public bath is like since tattoos aren't allowed. We did use the Spa, the massage was awesome. But it's not truly a spa, just a reconfigured hotel room.

Worth it for half the money
Older hotel on a beautiful beach. Rooms are pretty outdated. Service in the restaurant was awful. There were only 3 wait staff working and they were so busy they didn't even notice us get seated for the first 20 minutes. Meals came out 1 at a time and my wife had already finished by the time I got mine. At $400 a night during (granted during Golden Week), I expected better. Could have / should have stayed at the Chatan Hilton on Okinawa main island for the same price but better...everything.

Excellent location!
This hotel is very close to the Port and the Airport and local dinning. I'm so glad we stayed here. The place looks amazing, great view and great location. The food in their restaurant was petty impressive as well. I just wish we came in the summer so we could have enjoyed their gorgeous infinity pool.

Great Family Hotel on Beach.
Great hotel for families. The room had to double beds, a sofa couch, and fit a crib in it with room for us to move around. The bathroom had a tub and spray handle perfect for cleaning the little ones after a day at the beach. The pool had a kids play area that was shallow.

This hotel was great. We had a huge corner room with three beds, a massage chair, and couches. Our friend had a smaller room with just two beds. Two things that need to be worked on--there should be staff that can work with English speakers as we noticed many Americans there over the Memorial Day weekend. We needed help booking some things and there were times when the staff seemed lost and afraid almost because they couldn't explain things to us. There were cobwebs on the railings of our balcony. Not a big deal, but I had to wipe them off because there was a lot and who wants to have cobwebs flying all over the place while your trying to enjoy the view?

good but remote hotel
This is a nice hotel but a bit far from anything else on island. So expect to drive or eat at the hotel restaurant. The beach and infinity pool out front are beautiful. The biggest downside is being away from restaurants, which are located near Eef Beach and have some really great cheap seafood.

The Cypress Hotel is a bit far from all of the great attractions of the island but by far has some of the best customer service I have experienced in years. Broken English and all they were very patient with us, booked all of our activities, and basically treated us like we owned the place. Upon check out one of our kids forgot her stuffed animal in the room, the staff not only located it but brought it to the airport. Again, great customer service. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Fabulous location with ocean views and despite being a stone's throw from airport noise is not an issue. Meals at hotel reasonably priced and good quality for a resort hotel. Free use of washing machines and tumble dryers - just need to buy washing powder/liquid. Room decor a little tired as are the carpets but comfortable.

Enjoyed the spacious room and seaview though beach is not suitable for swim. Limited choice of food as there's no other resturants/cafe neearby. Quite far from the town area. However hotel provide airport transfer which is very good!

三連泊させていただきました。 五階のお部屋からのロケーションは素晴らしく、ホテルに面する海岸におりると、その美しさに圧倒されました。 館内は清潔感があり，スタッフの対応も嫌味がなく、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。 レストランでのお食事は、朝食，夕食共に美味しくいただきました。 朝食に和食のセットが別に付いてきますが、これは必要ない気がしました。夕食は、アラカルトでお願いしましたが、どれも美味しかったです。 レストラン利用は，前もって予約が必要ですが、観光旅行でない場合、ギリギリまでスケジュールが確定しない事があり、朝食を予約できない日もありました。予約なしで利用出来るとありがたいです。 お部屋がとても乾燥していて、エアコンは切って休みましたが、2日目の朝には喉が痛くなり、別部屋の同行者達も同様で、困りました。加湿器があれば助かります。 しかしながら、ロケーションの素晴らしさ，お食事の美味しさに惹かれて、次回もこちらを選びたいと思います。

久米島にはマリンスポーツでコロナ前は良く行っていたため、居酒屋など多くあるイフービーチ辺りのホテルや宿にはよく泊まっていたが、今回、久米島でトップの四つ星ホテルという事で４泊した。 しかし部屋からはゴキブリが2匹、蟻などがテレビの横のテーブルに出てきた。翌日、副支配人に苦情を言うと、フロントに電話をすれば対応するとの事。通常なら親戚の家に泊まっているのではないので、即、対応するのが四つ星のサービスかと思う。後で来られた掃除担当の男性も謝罪もせず、新聞紙に駆除したゴキブリを包んで出て行った。またゴキブリとも認めていなかったが、ここの口コミにも散見されるようにゴキブリの子供だと思われる。 また朝食も前日申し込みでも2450円もするのに、ジャムや鮭や納豆など国内の四つ星ホテルでは当然出てくると思われるものもなくパンにつけるジャムもなかった。和食セットが付いてそれ以外もバイキングで選んで良いと聞いていたが、選ぶほどの種類がなかったし、その和食セット自体、数品の質素なものであった。ランチとディナーも試してみたが、サラダなどにたくさんかけてあった紫芋のチップも多過ぎて、ポテトチップを食べている気分になった。 車海老贅沢丼というメニューも名前だけで、ふんだんに車海老を使ったと書いてあったが、乾物の車海老で、身はほとんどなく殻だけだった。正直、これならお茶漬けのりの方が美味しいのではと思った。 大浴場の風呂の温度も低めで満足のいくものではなかった。またインフィニティープールは夜景など一見きれいに見えるが、朝、その中で2羽の鳥が水浴びをしているのを見た。その周りの芝生からはハブも出ると 受付の女性からチェックインの際に聞いた。という事であまり利用しているゲストはいなかった。 売店も常時居るスタッフはおらず、兼務で無人状態、商品も品切れのものが多く、夕食がわりに何か買いたくても、カップラーメンなどしかない状態。 他にも細かいことを言えばきりがないが、最後に極め付けが金庫などもあるクローゼットにかけてあった洋服に付けていたブローチがチェックアウト前日の清掃後に消えていた。しっかりクローゼットは閉めて外出しているので、一度も着てもいない洋服に付いていたものが無くなるのは大変残念な経験だった。 副支配人によるとコロナ後のスタッフの不足、食材の輸送費などの高騰が理由ということだったが、既にコロナ禍も去って内地の旅行業も努力しながら復活している中、このような遅れたコメントでは残念すぎると思った。経営者が直接、現状を見て、常駐して対応していかないとこのような問題は解決されないと思う。 正直、４泊の間に起きた数々の不快な出来事やスタッフの言動を評価するとホテル料金を払う価値はないように今でも思う。

快適でした。
チェックインはスムーズでした。面倒な依頼も特に問題なくクリアーできました。毎日のベットメイキングは気持ちよかったです。清掃に関しましてはほこりが気になりました。掃除機をかけていただいているのかな？と感じました。じゅうたんの汚れが気になりました。テーブルなどの平面のほこりを拭きとっておいてほしかったです。部屋の広さは大満足です。素敵な休日を過ごせました。ありがとうございました。
