We (a family of 3) stayed 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. Even it is a bit outside from everything it is a perfect place to relax. As we stayed during the world cup semi finals the hotel staff arranged for us a possibility to watch Brazil vs. Germany at the Hemingway room at 3:00 am in the morning, as TV reception of the game in the room was not possible.
When you arrive, the lobby and the view are breathtaking. And the rest of the hotel lives up to this first impression. Our room was lovely - spotlessly clean and well-appointed. The staff were universally pleasant and helpful throughout the hotel. The facilities (pools, bars, restaurants, beachfront) are great. All-in-all it is a lovely hotel. My only gripe (and this is the same with all top-notch hotels) is that you have to pay (an extortionate sum) for wifi. Stay at a cheap hotel (even a backpacker hostel!) and they throw wifi in for free. Expensive hotels rip you off with that. That said, at least they give you free wifi in the lobby area.

My husband and I recently staued at Nagapura resort. We stayed in a pool access room which was huge. The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool access made it all that more amazing. The hotel staff were helpfull abd very friendly. The breakfast was good with some variety. The location was ok. It was a bit of a walk to the beach and main strip but my husband and I are walkers so it was not an issue for us. We would stay here again.
Cheaper yet better than Aonang Cliff Beach/ACB (my friends stayed there, I booked Peace Laguna/PL on my own). They have much much better compound and surrounding and landscape than ACB, much much friendly staff (very detailed orientated and courteous). PL prepares free tea + cookies at 4pm, and have singer sings for you at night at the lobby (I really liked him, he sings classical, and invited us to sing!)
I stayed here in November 2014 with my three teenage children in a Majestic Suite overlooking the pool (M123). The suite was excellent, the daily cleaning service very good and the hotel in general excellent. The pool is beautiful and as the hotel is small, the pool never got too busy.
The hotel is situated in a quiet location away from the tourist drag of AoNang, however the shuttle service into town was excellent and the drivers very friendly. The ease of Tuk Tuk carriage (50 baht per person) to return to the hotel was also a great experience and the children found the Tuk Tuk ride exhilarating! We also walked into AoNang a few times, it is a pleasant walk.
The only thing that lets the hotel down is the restaurant. We tried the restaurant for dinner a couple of times, not eating the first time due to the lack of availability of our choices and when we did eat the food was not too good and again the restaurant did not have the diet sodas we wanted. However AoNang is full of restaurants so we chose to eat out. Breakfast is basic and repetitive.
The staff at the hotel were excellent, polite, helpful and very friendly.
I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel as a fantastic place to stay for those like us who enjoy the luxury of a great hotel which is quiet, yet convinient.
We visited Krabi and stayed at Mercure from 15 Oct to 18 Oct. Excellent hotel, good location for us - not too secluded and not too far from the town. Tuk tuk will cost ard 30 baht per person to aonang main area - which is about 10 mins away. Staff was attentive, polite and pleasant during our stay. Free wifi provided, and you can also use the PC near lobby FOC. we wish that there were more english channels for tv provided - beacuse most shows does not have subtitle. But overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Totally recommended!

Friendly staff, amazing buffet breakfast (free) to start the day. Rooms were very big and nice (we stayed for $50 CAD a night, it was a promotional room).
Fun restaurants and main Ao Nang strip on the beach were 5 minutes away. Hotel was nicely located further in from the busy street it was on, making it nice and quiet after a long day outside. The security guard and gate adds a nice touch in terms of peace of mind. Great private balconies too.
Overall, great experience; try to go in the slow season so you get a better deal!
