Rooms are spacious and clean. Place looks new. Staff are friendly although check in time is a little slow. Took about 20 minutes although there were only one more person in front of us. However, service is excellent and they gave us a free upgrade as there were not enough rooms. Check out time is much faster; took about 3 minutes.
Only one complaint: breakfast is not so delicious.
Verdict: Will be back if there is an opportunity
This hotel close to the West RIlay beach only 50 Meters from the Hotel which beautifule beach and still natural , We stayed there for one night with 2 chridren , They are 2 swimming pools and this hotel not too far from Phra Nang cave just only 10 minutes walk from the Hotel but unfortunately we face the rainning during back to Hotel that take longer time. Also there are the boats between Ao nang to Rilay just only 15 minute from their and also a lot of boat taxi for tour around. A lot of canteen and also bar beer in front of the beach. Breakfast have many kind of foods and beverage my kids like very much. Resort's staff quite friendly and serve as well. Also there was convenience store beside to this hotel. We are recommenting this Sand sea resort who like the sea beach with beautiful environment and confortable for the time to relax. but 2 things need to improved that there was the mosquito in the room it not too much but it made nervous for us and another is Wi-fi quite too slow and sometimes disconnect.
I have travelled a lot in my life. I never found a place like Rayavadee. A masterpiece of nature. A present for your soul. A visit on Rayavadee changes the way you see things in life!
From now on if I think of paradise I will bring the images from Rayavadee in my mind

"Great Family Friendly Hotel with Beautiful Views!"
We rented 2 rooms at the Princess Resort to accommodate our family of 6. The rooms each had a king sized bed and then had a little couch like thing which basically looked like a bed with throw pillows on it that you could also use as a bed as well. The rooms were nice and clean and had beautiful views out the balcony windows. The hotel gave us 3 large free bottles of water per day which were so appreciated. The restaurant had great Thai food for dinner but was on the more expensive side so we opted to try other places on other nights. There are several great restaurants down from the hotel though with very reasonable prices. Our favorite food during the trip were the Thai pancakes with fruit or nutella in them for around 30-60 baht each. So yummy! Ferry rides out to Railay from Krabi were 100 baht each during the day but increased to 150 baht after dark - and only if you had enough people (which they wanted TEN!) We ended up paying 1200 baht for our family of 6 to not have to wait for more people. We got to Railay around 8 pm and the tide was so low we had to walk about 1/2 a block from the boat to the beach in the water (which was actually quite fun). We had 8 pieces of luggage with us though and 4 kids, so it made it a bit challenging. But the hotels usually have tractors with carts in the back to come and pick you up in the water. The princess said they were sending a car for us, but one never did come. We loved the hotel though and the pool was great too!
We had a pleasant stay in this resort for three nights. It was a totally relaxing experience. The beaches were great. My daughter went for deep sea diving n rock climbing. Both were first time experience for her. My son went for ATV. The beaches were clean, totally untouched. We would be very happy to visit once again.
The Tawan Cottage was better than I expected. An air conditioned bungalow surrounded by tropical landscaping made for a romantic private setting. The room is broken into three parts, the bedroom, the vanity/dresser area and the bathroom. All the lights are metal in beautiful artistic designs such as a hand holding a flower or a group of flowers. Only the bedroom is air conditioned but even during the hottest month this was fine. A delicious customizable breakfast was served on our private balcony each morning, we just had to remember to order the day before at the front desk. There are dual plugs but only one outlet in the bedroom area. The staff is helpful and friendly and speaks good English.
They say you get what you pay for and in this case, it's true. It's a budget resort, so don't have high expectations, but I'm not disappointed with what we got for the price. Bathrooms were basic, but serviceable, beds were hard but not uncomfortable, breakfast was pretty good with eggs made to order (I recommend an omelette with the lot). Stayed two nights, the first in a Standard, the second in a Deluxe Cabin. The extra $20 was worth it, if only not to have the noise of the locals playing soccer after midnight (it would depend where your room is as to whether this was an issue). Free WiFi, pool and breakfast buffet included, overall a satisfactory experience. Railay itself was lovely and I was sad to leave after two short days. Do be aware that you will most likely be stepping in and out of the boat in knee to thigh deep water, wear appropriate clothes, bring appropriate luggage!
I stayed in this hotel with my sisters for 4 days 3 nights. The place was good and they provide free breakfast. They have good customer service but we struggle a little bit to climb up the stairs every time we goes out and get back. We had hard time to access to the hotel from Krabi town. The longtail boat charged 3 of us 1000THB and they dropped us at Railay West and we walked almost 20 mins to Railay East. Luggage are not advisable!!!! Overall it was a good stay but it will be great if they had air conditioned in their huts.
