Nice hotel as stop over before ferry crossing

Posted 21-Feb-2015
This is a good friendly hotel, ideal for stop over before ferry crossing. Room we had was nicely presented, and fine for 2 adults and 2 children. We only found the kettle as we were leaving, as it was in a drawer under the TV. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Efficient and Convenient

Posted 10-Feb-2015
I used this place as a two night stopover to explore the area. Dover Castle in particular. Like all of these kinds of chain hotels what it lacks in character and location it makes up for in bullet proof efficiency and reliability. Would I stay there again? Yes.

Friendly staff, hot rooms.

Posted 01-Feb-2015
The public areas, such as the bar and dining areas were very hot, making it uncomfortable to spend any time talking with friends. The rooms were clean but again very hot and as i was on the ground floor did not feel safe to leave my window open all night. I did have a free standing fan but was far too loud. I was left with the choice of too warm or too loud, result being not much sleep

Close to home

Posted 28-Dec-2014
Pros: Location, price, service, cleanliness ,friendly staff
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Convenient for channel crossing
We stayed at the Ramada hotel for one night on Christmas day after an evening function with family. The function was a buffet with 60s band which was all first class entertainment with great food and plenty of it. The hotel is only 10 miles from our house however it enabled us to have a few drinks and the price of a room for the night was not a lot more than a taxi home. Our room was clean and comfortable with 2 double beds TV, coffee and excellent shower. We would definitely recommend to stay before a trip across the channel or just a night out at the Ramada hotel.

Very cold

The room was extremely cold and uncomfortable. No-one on reception to hear complaint so found alternative accomodation!
