Our bathroom was dirty and had hair on the walls and stuff in the shower upon arrival. Box of Kleenex was empty and garbage already in the trash.

Which room specifically do you plan to stay in? We are not asking for a 200 deposit for a pet. The 200 deposit is for the room in case anything is damaged or a foul odor is left behind (especially smoking). Deposits are usually returned within 5-7 business days, depending on the bank, and are guaranteed to be debited back to your account. We only charge 20 for pets.

The bathroom was absolutely filthy!! I used my own disinfectant wipes to clean around the sink and the toilet. The room didnt feel safe as the only thing locking the door was a deadbolt that didn't seem very strong with a huge gap between the door and the frame.

I had to check out within minutes of arriving. The room was disgusting. I immediately check the sheets and they were stained. There were loads of intoxicated people outside. This place should not be listed as a viable option to stay at.

You won’t want to walk around bear foot in your room. Checking in in a gas bar, convenience store with a line of people wanting to buy lottery tickets is not an environment I care for. To their the employees tried hard…..

Staff helpful and tentative. Small cramped location for parking larger size vehicles with trailer. Single occupant concerned with no chains or dead bolt. No drain plugs to wash in sink. Shower head directed at wall and not flexible

Room is absolutely disgusting. I’m afraid to take my shoes off. The carpets are covered in questionable stains. The toilet seat had old urine on it. The room smells awful, like urine. The walls have streak marks of who knows what. If there was another room to go to at another hotel after 10pm, I would go. Will be leaving as soon as possible in the morning. Not even taking a shower as it’s all just too gross.

It was a little tight for parking but we were given an option for parking so that was good. It would be helpful if we could be notified ahead of time, where the motel office is, spent some time trying to find it. We were let know ahead of time what the hours were to register but not where the office was because it’s not in the building. This could be put in the same message. Also didn’t know that we would have to pay a $200.00 deposit that would be refunded later for possible damages. Was just glad that we had that money available.

If I could share photos I would. Mold growing in the shower stall and door. Dead bugs by the bed. On dead centipede by the bathroom sink. Food found on the electric heater cover. Thick dust on both sides of the bathroom door. The first night the door to the 4 units rang out loudly until 3:22 am. Called the desk and no one answered. No other rooms available in Kenora as its their busy season or I would have checked out immediately. I spent 2 hours cleaning the shower stall with comet with bleach, because I had to get ready for my brothers wedding.

The motel was run by a gas station. The parking was terrible. The rooms were out dated and had mold in the shower. Thankfully the beds were clean. One of the blankets had a cigarette burn hole and the room was overpowered by a scent plug in to cover the musty smell. . We couldnt call anyone vecause we got there late and the gas station closed. The shower was tiny. In the morning we noticed the bath towel has a yellow stain and after telling the clerk at a 7 am check out all they said was "oh,okay." With no empathy or care.

Price was very reasonable and not far from hospital for medical appointment. Facility is old but clean. Room small but had microwave, coffee maker and fridge. Fridge smelled a little so didn’t use it. No hair dryer or Kleenex supplied.

This property was a complete disappointment. Dirty linen, mold in the bathroom, stained carpet, slamming outer door woke us several times per night, dangerous parking area and entrance, among other issues. No ability to contact staff from the room, had to use personal cell phone or go to office that closed at 10 pm. Rooms need a total reno to be any acceptable room to stay, and price for the condition was unacceptable. Would never go back. Mentioned all the issues to management and all that was offered was a bag of ice on the house.
