I’m sorry we were not able to accommodate you, but our motel does not and has not ever accepted cats. It is clearly stated in the pet policy that we are dogs only. We have an employee with a serious allergy and we won’t put her at jeopardy. We refunded you in full, apologized, and explained to you why we couldn’t keep the reservation. I’m not sure why you were even able to leave the review since you never even entered a room. Hopefully you found a place that could help you out.

Thanks for giving us a chance. We appreciate the review, but wish you would have come to talk to us about the issues. We absolutely have coffee cups. If we missed replacing them, that’s an easy fix. The locks are a work in progress, we apologize that the deadbolt isn’t in place yet. We are replacing all of our locks and had to order more. The specialized locks take some time to come in. We also had no idea that the sink wasn’t attached. If nobody tells us that, it is hard to fix. The bar across the street was recommended because that is our option in this very small town. They have a pretty good menu for the size and serve a lot more than pizza. We have never claimed to be fancy, and tell everyone about our very basic amenities. We aim for clean, safe, and friendly. We work hard to keep our older motel in the best shape we can. Safe travels and enjoy your trip.

Hello sir,If you would have taken the time to read the reviews, you would have seen that it is a very small town with very limited extras. Our excellent rating comes from the cleanliness, the friendliness, and the safe and quiet environment. We have the basics amenities, but nothing extra. Most all of the reviews say if you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all the bells and whistles, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for friendly, safe, and quiet with a small town atmosphere and a clean room, we meet that bill. We hope the rest of your trip meets your expectations.

Thank you for the review and kind words. Yes this is a very small town but there are a few food options here in town. There's Benji's Diner which is open for breakfast and lunch and the Prairie Dust bar which is right across the road from the motel. Also a grocery store called BJ's which is just a couple blocks from us. Thank you for staying with us!

Thank you for choosing King's Inn! We have chairs out front of the north side motel, but the south side building sits the wrong direction to be able to do that. With the wind and the sun, we can't get them to stay put! We're working on different options. Safe travels and we are glad the rest of your stay was great.
