Hotels in South Dakota

If I could give this hotel a 10, I would! Staff was super friendly, and I received a coupon for a free drink at the bar when I arrived. Room was newly renovated and looked amazing. Upon entering the room, there was a mini cheesecake waiting for me on a plate on the bed! Bed was very comfortable with very soft sheets. The view from the room looked over the downtown area as well. I don't know if I had any neighbors because I didn't hear anything during my stay. There is a fancy restaurant downstairs at night (didn't try it) that serves as the breakfast area in the morning. Breakfast was a made-to-order omelet, seasoned potatoes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and various breads. OJ and juice available. Awesome breakfast! The bar is next to a casino, and appeared to be a local hangout with very nice people. You can also order food at the bar.

We stayed at the Alex Johnson while visiting Rapid City for our sons graduation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the Seattle's Best coffee shop adjacent to the hotel.

Staff were very helpful giving instructions and directions to us. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that the couple next door were very loud at 5.30 am in the morning. Not the hotels fault though

Quick trip and didnt know where to book. We found the hotel clean and comfortable. They had soft and firm pillows. Nice and close to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse etc.

service was great. atmosphere was great as well. i would stay again if I'm in the area.

The pool was slimy around the edge. The beds were not comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly.the location was excellent. I don't know that we would stay here again.

The hotel was in a convienient location. Had a awesome Pool that My son and I enjoyed thouroghly. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

We really liked the hotel. The rooms were very nice. The kids enjoyed the pool.
