A short taxi ride from the train station (or 20 minute walk). A very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the Pool Valley coach station (National Express buses to Gatwick and Heathrow). "Legends is a lovely old seafront hotel with welcoming and helpful staff, and the room i was in was charming and modern. The only problem i had was that my room key card kept forgetting how to open my door, but the staff were always available and happy to help. There is a nightclub in the hotel, but from my room there was barely any noise, so i slept well!"

"Parking was the only nightmare, there are a few spaces out front of the hotel but getting a space seemed like a task you would spend most of your holiday trying to attain. Reception was very friendly. The room was fine and nice and clean. The 4am wake-up call from the seagulls were unbearable, obviously not the hotels fault but getting double glazed windows would make sure a difference."

"This was an absolute nightmare from finally getting into the property to leaving the following day and i was booked for 2nights. The room is a pit, the décor is depressing and thoroughly disappointing. There is no 24hr front desk , there's not even a desk and when you try to contact them it just repeatedly goes to voicemail they are totally uncontactable. we left a day early as we could not bear another night in there. "This is a lovely apart/hotel in a great location and I recommend it highly. It's situated within a 2-min walk to Gloucester Road station. The area is quiet and walkable. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park just a few minutes away too. Lots of great coffee shops and restaurants close by and the high street is 10-mins away. We stayed for 9 days in between other travels. We initially strayed in the studio room which was great but a bit small but then we moved to a studio deluxe which was perfect. A large size with plenty of space space for bags. The small kitchenette in the rooms was very handy too. The coffee machine in the lobby was awesome. The staff at the hotel, all of them, were very helpful and friendly. This was a great experience and we will definitely be back. "
