“Good Choice for the budget minded”

Though the hotel is a bit dated, we found the staff helpful, the breakfast tasty, the location excellent and the room clean. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The only issue was twice when we were in the lobby, pre-registered/pre-paid guests were told the hotel had overbooked and were given a voucher for a cab and a room at a different hotel - not sure the quality of the alternate hotel but needless to say - the pre-booked guests were not very happy - so beware.

“The only place to stay in Jerusalem”

The Addar was just as eventful as the sites in and around Jerusalem. The service was excellent. The food was just right. They chef made the adjustment to accommodate me because I am a vegetarian. All of the meals were excellent at the hotel. We looked forward to breakfast and dinner each day. Great people to work with. They arranged all of our tours during the 9 days we were there. My wife and mother both thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Addar is the only place we will stay on our next visit to Israel.

“Hospitality a Few Blocks from the Old City”

The Addar Hotel is in an excellent location, only a short walk down the road from the Damascus Gate. The staff was very helpful and friendly, providing advice and directions. There is no outstanding view, hidden garden or pool, but that is not necessarily what one looks for when visiting the Old City. The price was reasonable and good food was in walking distance. There is even a place to leave the car, which you will not need during your stay.

“Glad To Have stayed!”

Loved this boutique hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location and although I hate to discriminate between travelers/ other guests there were both Jews and Arabs in the hotel, which for me was a great thing. The room was very spacious and very clean and same for the bathroom .I loved the Jacuzzi in my bathroom. I also love movies and was very pleased to have 3 movie channels in the room. There was also BBC and CNN and some other European language channels. Free of charge Wireless internet in my room was also a great plus. Cannot recommend another hotel in Jerusalem. It was a perfect stay at Addar.

“I read all of the other reviews and I have to disagree w/ the sour complaints..”

Loved the staff- helpful, kind and knowledgable. Breakfast was pleasant and having it on the balcony overlooking the beautiful neighbor hotels was beautiful. 5 minutes walk to Damascus Gate. Room has a separate bedroom w/ king bed, living room and kitchen.. plus flat screen TV in each. The bathroom has also a bidet and a whirlpool bathtub. Enjoyed them A LOT! Thank you Addar!
