“will go back for sure”

hotel was clean staff and management was helpful it was a really good exp hotet is old school style all over the hotel

“Ill prepared hotel”

They messed up my entire itinerary and even with the family traveling they had the presence of mind of accommodate two rooms on different floors which resulted into a lot of inconvenience. The room service was pathetic and had to pushed to get something into the room.

“I recommend this hotel”

It's a very authentic hotel, clean, with a nice terrace where you can enjoy traditional indian music and dances. The swimming pool is also clean - we did not use it but only beause there was too much to visit in Jaipur :) Breakfast is good, not very much meat (at all) but this is common in India. And as a plus - we stayed at six hotels during our trip in India and this was the only one that provided free acces to internet!

“Perfect for Families”

My wife and I, along with 3 young children stayed here for 1 night in December 2010. After traveling all day, this place was just what the doctor ordered. The restaurant was very good and the room was extremely comfortable (we especially enjoyed the strong hot shower!). They provide a complimentary continental breakfast buffet every morning that is excellent. For the money, this place can't be beat. Highly recommended!

“Great value in Jaipur”

The hotel is definitely good value for the money and I highly recommend it. If you are picky like me, take your own pillow along for a better night sleep. Only wish I had was they provide an in-room tea/coffee maker with supplied. You can still opt for room service, which was prompt.

Area recommendations
Avoid 'certified tour guides' and read-up on various attractions over the internet ahead of your visit. The tour guides are typically sales agents of various area businesses, and will end up wasting several of your hours dragging you thru stores and malls that sell for a lot more than ordinary markets elsewhere. They get their commission just for taking you there, even if you bought nothing. Hence, they get pushy about it.
When to go
Let me tell you about when not to go... Avoid peak monsoon season. I was there towards the end of July 2010, and it was difficult to go site-seeing due to heavy rain. The main problem was not the rain from above, but the flash-flood down below! Jaipur is on a hill, the road drainage is near non-existant, and streets turn into streams very quickly.

“Impressive, Spotless,a real treat.”

The Hotel was almost perfect. Room was excellent, spotless. The bathroom was great, hot shower and very clean. The breakfast was outstanding. Great location, nice and quiet at night. Only one negative, the front desk staff would rather talk on their mobile or to each other........they were third rate and the hotel was first rate!!!! Would recommend this hotel as agreat break from the outside world.

“Convenient and comfortable”

The hotel was quiet, well-cared for, and with a good roof-top buffet. The only problem was that the hotel did not provide confirmation in advance, though I phoned from Delhi and confirmed prior to traveling to Jaipur.

“very impressive service and building”

The hotel was excellent and the staff and services were very good. Evening entertainment was a good surprise bonus. Location is the only problem as the there not much near the hotel. However, I will stay there again if I am in Jaipur.
