And in addition to our double occupancy queen rooms, we also offer 2-bedroom suites which are twice the size so maybe you would be more comfortable in one of our suites. We also utilize a contact-less text messaging communication system for guests to tell us any concerns or make any requests, which most guests find super useful and convenient. We normally begin our review response by thanking our guest for writing, but that would be very difficult considering our recent experience hosting you and your companion at Bird of Paradise Hotel. Your arrival at the hotel was a glaring indication of what kind of behavior we were to expect during your stay. You arrived intoxicated, disrespectful and belligerent and began your Check-in process with profanity and by refusing to provide your passport details, which is a government requirement of all foreign guests. Instead of arguing with you, our professional staff gave you an enormous courtesy and chose to wait a day for you to "sleep it off" and revisit the requirement the next morning. Unfortunately, instead of taking the evening to relax and enjoy the serenity and personalized attention at the hotel, you made the unwise decision to leave the hotel intoxicated to go who knows where and do who knows what. When you returned alone to the hotel in the wee dark hours of the morning, you told our night guard you were not sure if you were at the right place and you did not really know where you were staying! Our guard assured you that you were at the correct hotel and helped you safely get to your room. As for the rest of your story, it does not deserve any space here. I will tell you that due to the difficulties we experienced with you, all future guests must now pre-pay for airport transportation and special requests such as wine and roses in their room, and there is no longer the option for these services to be added to your room charges. In closing, we usually encourage our guests to come back and stay with us again, but nope, we are not doing that either. Our hope is that future travelers who look to guest reviews when making their travel plans take the time to read through all of the reviews available to make an informed opinion of what the majority of past guests have to say about their experience. And if any future traveler truly wants more details, we would be happy to share ALL of the recorded audio-video surveillance footage of your time spent interacting with our wonderful staff. In the details it states that there is a small charge for parking on our secure property and an option for free parking on the street. We state that we offer a free Continental Breakfast Continental is defined as a light morning meal consisting of bake goods, fruit, juice and coffee. Thank you for posting our pool picture it is a beautiful place to relax. We offer beautiful rooms and relaxing settings for an affordable price. Thank you for your comments. Our rooms are advertised with the measurements listed right under the room photo so that guests can know how large the room is before they make their reservation. In addition to our double occupancy Standard Room with a small bathroom you stayed in, we also have double occupancy Superior Rooms with a much larger bathroom and also 2-bedroom suites with even more space, so we politely disagree with your statement that the rooms are very small. Perhaps the next time you visit, you would be more comfortable in one of our Superior Rooms or Suites. We hope to see you again soon, pura vida!
