“Living large at Loveridge”

First of all this is the fourth time we have stayed at Loveridge and I can say that these are awesome condominium rentals in Jackson Hole 3 blocks from downtown. The suites or apartments if you will are amazingly appointed, with granite counter tops in the kitchen and complete with washer and dryer. The rooms are appointed well and are very comfortable and exceptionally nice. When I stay there in the summer or fall we always hike up snow king which is the local ski hill (1.8 mile hike with 1600 ft elevation gain), we usually take the ski lift back down for a minimal charge. This trail is basically right outside your room. Last summer we were here and rented nice mountain bikes (specialized stumpjumper) right at Snow King which is the resort that owns Loveridge. The mountain trails start right outside your door and we rode for about 12 miles each way. Overall, we enjoy Loveridge because of it's location to the downtown and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful room with gas fireplaces, well appointed rooms, in a beautiful setting.

“Awesome views and quiet,convienent location”

This condo was beyound our expectation. We wanted to be away from the traffic at town square. You could walk to town, about 6 long blocks but we drove. Early October is pre ski so parking wasn't a problem in town. The condo was very well built and super quiet. You felt you were in a free standing home. Spacious with laundry room, jacuzzi and large shower, seperate large closet and bathroom,fireplace and balcony with amazing mountain views that we photographed daily because the light and weather made the landscape change. Fall foilage was excellent. They replenished towels and useable items daily. We would definately go back to the same location and hated to leave. Parking garage at each four plex was great for staying out of elements. We chose to be on the top floor. 33 stairs from parking to unit but we didn't mind the climb. Great resting place for touring the Tetons, Teton Pass and Valley and Yellowstone. Our check out was Oct 5 and we woke up to a snow storm. Since most roads out of Jackson require going over an 8000+ ft mountain snow accumulates quickly and roads get icy. We had white out conditions on Hoback M.. and a hairy 5 minutes of icy road at the top. Valley below was clear. We ate breakfast at Snow King Resort buffet. It was ok. Heated pool and jacuzzi were great though we did not use them. Gift stores at resort were not open. This time of year everything closes around 7-9:00.

Area recommendations

Ate downstairs at Million Dollar Cowboy Bar resturant. Fantastic meal and service.$25+ per person. Most of good shops and resturants are around Town Square. Also ate at Jackson Lake Lodge on the way back from Yellowstone. They were closing in four days because in the winter they get 725 inches of snow. Had a great meal and service. Snow King Ave made easy access to all routes in Jackson. For groceries and prepared food Albertson's was short drive from the Resort. Be aware that many of food serving lodges and bathrooms are closed after first week of Oct in Yellowstone Park. Bathrooms are not clearly marked at road.

“Nice condo”

Nice place on the edge of town, right at the base of Snow King resort. Short walk to restaurants and shops but also offers a shuttle every 30 minutes. Kitchen had minimal provisions, but many of the basics. Bed was comfy and the condo was quiet (late summer). Can't wait to go back again.

“Very impressed”

We chose Love Ridge after several hours of Internet searching and reviewing. Based upon each family members wants and needs Love Ridge covered everything. Our room was immaculate and became our home away from home. The only problem was we didn't want to leave. Jackson Hole is heaven on earth and Love Ridge condos were the icing on the cake. We were more than satisfied and we will definitely be back.

“Loving Love Ridge”

I've never stayed in a nicer rental condo. Love Ridge is simply great. The condos are roomy and the fit and finishes are beautiful (granite countertops, comfortable furniture, etc.). I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to reccomend Love Ridge to any traveller. That being said, while staying there you'll want to have a car, as the condos are about a mile from the center of town, which can be a pretty long walk in the wintertime. Underground partking at the condos is very convenient, however.

“Best Honeymoon Ever in a beautiful place and setting”

“Love Ridge Resort Great Accomodations, but poor service.”

The Love Ridge Resort has great condo style rooms that are spacious and nicely decorated. If you need a lot of space and want nice accomodations the Love Ridge works well. However, the real draw back to these accomodations are the Hotel Service and the stairs that you have to drag your luggage up either one or two flights of stairs. There are no elevators and lugging your belongings up these stairs is a lot of work and could be very difficult for older people. The Hotel does not offer to help you with your luggage and doesn't warn you about the stairs. You may be able to get some help from the front desk, but don't expect them to be helpful or friendly about it.

“Would recomend to everyone.”

I booked the small studio with the murphy bed and one bath. When we arrived the room really was two bed rooms and two full baths. I was surprised. We never had to use the murphy bed and had that room as a sitting room. Both rooms have a connected outside patio with chairs and a table. It made for a relaxing place to hang out after a long day at the national parks. The room also had a small bar area with a small refridgerator. The location is quiet and secluded. If you are looking for a place that is a step above a hotel this is the place.

Area recommendations

Grand Teton/Yellowstone parks. They were beautiful.

When to go

May before the schools let out and in August after school starts. This will cut down on the crowds and the weather is still nice.

“Awesome Experience - Beautiful Location”

WE had a great experience. Our flight was excellent and on time ~ amazed at how small the airport was in Jackson Hole and still able to accomadate us as well as they did! The hotel was more than we expected! On the internet we read it as a 1 bedroom with a murphy bed (meaning it was more like an efficiency apartment, accomadating only 2 persons) When we arrived it was a one bedroom PLUS the murphey bed in the living area - with 2 bathrooms, so we could have had our other travel couple stay with us and shared a room. So that was a little unclear when reservations were made - but it was a beautiful lodge and very well kept. Wish the wi-fi could have worked from our room and not have to service it only in the hotel lobby, little inconvenient. Overall great experience !

Area recommendations

We frequented downtown , loved the shops , etc. Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone
