personale competente, sistemazione deludente

Posted 28-Jul-2015

Posted 21-Jul-2015

Location: Zentral old town.

Nice Hotel-good location: Will NOT give refunds

Posted 15-Jun-2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: REFUNDS
Location: Everything is nearby-the Hippodrome, the Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque are must-sees. Great restaurants and interesting stores are at hand as well
We were a day late getting in because of several delayed flights (never fly Delta) and so we checked into Sarnic, a historical building converted into a hotel. The staff there spoke English well and were extremely helpful and polite, our room was clean, well-decorated, and on the first floor. Overall, our experience was pleasant, however it irks me to no end that I have to pay for a night that I did not stay at this hotel for no other reason than an airline's fault (I'm a college student and their no refund policy kills me). Regardless, the location was magnificent-we could see the Blue Mosque from the terrace restaurant. Walking around was fun, and we could stay out later because the hotel was so close by. The wifi was spotty, but the experience overall was definitely worth the trip, and all things considered we did get a good deal through Expedia.

Excellent location

Posted 08-Jun-2015
We stayed here for 6 nights . Overall this is an excellent hotel right in the heart of the tourist area in Istanbul. Room was nice, clean, and the staff were outstanding. They spoke English well, and really were dedicated to helping us enjoy our stay. Many thanks to Ergun ( fantastic cheese ) and Jon. Last but not least, thanks to Recep, he is very polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you Sarnic Hotel.

Nice hotel next to Blue mosque

Very nice hotel within walking distance of the Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia museum. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Only downside is the poor internet speeds.

Pros: Lage, Freundlichkeit des Personals, gutes Frühstück
Cons: Optische Instandhaltung: Malern, Ausbessern von Schäden durch Benutzung
Location: Zentrum der Altstadt von Istanbul, Besichtigung von Topkapi-Palast, Hagia Sophia, Blauer Moschee, Zisterne, Bootstour usw.
Ordentliches Hotel in der Nähe (Fußweg) aller Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt. Für ein Stadthotel angemessener Lärmpegel. Sehr freundliches Personal, angenehmer Empfang.

Pros: The breakfast is huge with something for everyone. And the roof top bar and restaurant has a stunning view of the Blue Mosque.
Cons: Replace the peeling wallpaper. Clean out the shower so it will drain.
Location: The hotel is located within the old walls of Constantinople and only a few blocks from the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia!
Istanbul is a great city to visit in the Spring. The weather is a little unpredictable, so pack accordingly. But, overall, you will be in a comfortable place surrounding by a city with more tulips than Holland. So much history and so many things to do you can easily spend 4 days full of activities. There is a new walking food tour on the Asia continent, this is not to be missed even if you are not a 'foodie'.
