A+ stay!

This property is beautiful. It has everything you need along with a beautiful view. The owners are easy to communicate with. It is the cleanest place I have ever stayed. It was a perfect Thanksgiving get away. We were down for a basketball tournament and the location was great. If we ever come back to Illinois we will stay here!

For three friends getting together for a golf holiday this was the perfect stay. The layout made it easy to relax as a group in the open family area or to retreat to the quiet of a bedroom. The kitchen had all that we needed. It is a bright, clean, and airy, home and the view from the decks is fabulous. Jason is a terrific host, quickly responsive and helpful. 5 stars all around.

My husband and I rented this beautiful river house to visit with our dear friends from Eurika Il on our road trip from Williamsburg Virginia to Mt Rushmore in South Dakota. It was clean, in a nice neighborhood, and it had a fantastic veiw of the Illinois River! The beds were very comfortable, it was easy to check in, and the host was very nice. I would definitely stay here again. It was very pleasant.

Wonderful time!
Beautiful view! Communication with the host was great! My son enjoyed fishing and even caught a catfish. We enjoyed the deck and the fire pit. If we come back to Peoria we will definitely try to stay here!

Very nice home directly on the river
Very clean and tastefully decorated. VERY well stocked, everything you could need or want. View was very nice. Master bedroom was private and quite large with it's own balcony. We love fishing and unfortunately didn't have much luck, but that's not the host's fault (LOL). Might want to consider a TV in the master bedroom, as our family and my husband and I have different viewing tastes. Would definitely recommend this home for any occasion.

Even Better Than Expected
My brother and our friends go on an annual trip for a few days to a different town/state to get in several rounds of disc golf. This year we decided to keep it in state and look for something close around the greater Peoria area. We saw the listing for this place and went for it and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The place is better than expected and the views outside on the Illinois River were spectacular. Jason had great communication throughout the process and was very accommodating to our group. If I ever need to spend a few nights back in the area, I would definitely look to book this place again!

Fun girls weekend at the lake
We planned a girl's weekend for all the women in my family. This house looked perfect because the location was a mid-point for everyone, the view looked amazing & everyone could have their own bed. This is only my second time using VRBO but several of my family members use it regularly. The house was very nice. The host was very friendly & helpful. Amazingly, the hot water lasted for all 7 of us to shower. A huge plus! The home is right on the water so we had a wonderful view. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use any of the outdoor amenities like the fire pit, patio or grill because the whole time we were there the wind was incredibly strong. It seemed to only be that way at the house. Any time we left it was only moderately windy or not windy at all. Everything in the house appears to be new. This is nice except for the two twin beds. They are obviously brand new & so loud when you move in them that you wake yourself & the other person up. I'm not sure how you could fix this. I recommend using a white noise app to try to help drown it out. It may not even be an issue for kids. We made all the meals but one at the house. The kitchen is a great size & situated perfectly so no one is excluded. My aunt's who are more experience VRBO'ers said the cooking supplies were good but they usually have more in such large kitchens. Because it looks new, I assume this will get better with time. The only thing I needed & couldn't find was a rubber spatula & liquid measuring cup. The living room has a large sectional that fit all of us & there was plenty of room for games & puzzles at the kitchen table. Overall I would recommend this house to anyone, especially a large group, unless you wanted to do outside stuff. We came in April. Maybe the wind dies down later in the year?

After graduating 67 years ago in 1974, 6 of us high school friends decided to meet in a central point from where we all ended up in our journey of life. This ended up being around Peoria Illinois. We chose this house because its pictures looked like the perfect relaxing getaway!! The pictures did not disappoint!! The house is beautiful with plenty of sleeping room for the six of us and had everything in it that you could dream of ever needing! But the most breathtaking feature was definitely the views!! We spent most of our time on the huge deck watching the river, the wildlife and the barges come and go!! The fire ring down on the sandy beach was a favorite spot to sit and reminisce and watch the barges go by!! We were so close and got lots of beautiful pics!! We made lots of fun memories and decided well before our trip ended that we were coming back!! Jason was very nice and made us feel very welcome and assured us that he was available for anything that we might need!! If you’re debating on properties, just chose this one!! You won’t be disappointed!!

What a gem of a property! Spacious, Clean, All the Amenities, Fantastic Views of River; Balcony downstairs & Up; BBQ etc; Very Friendly & Helpful owner in Jason etc etc. There were 6 of us so plenty of room & sleeping quarters, but there is also pull out couch & a few air matresses if you need .. VERY CLOSE to SUMMER CAMP MUSIC FEST at 3 Sisters Park Me and the crew give it an enthusiastic TWO THUMBS UP!! My one recommendation is to re -do the instruction sheet in kitchen. The Wi Fi code is buried way way down at very bottom. Most everyone missed it until I perused more closely - -it was there but easily missed

Perfect River View
We loved this spot so much in late October that we decided to return in the summer. We were a party of 4 adults, but there is plenty of room for a larger group. With the "wall of windows", you can view the river during inclement weather, or enjoy the wonderful deck when it's nice outside. The host is easy to reach and everything is as pictured. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing retreat. It's only about 2 miles north to get to a grocery store or anything else you might need. The best find for me was the Forest Park Nature Center located about 9 miles south, toward Peoria. The trails are almost completely shaded and are very well marked and maintained...gorgeous area!

The house is beautiful, and the indoor spaces are immaculately clean and comfortable. The view of the river is unparalleled from every window. The serenity of the river and the quietness of the neighborhood will lull you into a peaceful state almost immediately. There is more than ample room in the house and on the porch for gathering with friends or family, and a large dining table makes for great meals or great game playing. All the beds are very comfortable, and the interior is decorated so tastefully, with very upgraded appliances and entertainment options. We had a very restful and lovely time here.

We loved staying there! It doesn’t feel like you’re in the Illinois River, more like a lake. Beautiful scenery and views from the decks. Even saw a river otter from the deck. Kids loved watching the barges go by.

Time to reconnect with family
We spent a long weekend visiting our children who live in the area. We loved the large table where we played lots of games that we brought. We played ping pong and bumper pool. We took naps and grilled up steaks and sat by the fire. We loved watching the barges go by. Since our final day was windy and rainy it was so nice to be parked in the garage to load up. Thanks!

Worth coming back… and that’s what we did!
My girlfriend and I stayed at this property during the summer and were thrilled to return for some downtime this December. The property is very clean, the views are incredible and the property owner is fantastic to work with. We look forward to returning for our third stay in the near future!
