"The hotel is a very old building and therefore no lift and for us in a top floor room quite a lot of stairs. Room was a good size with double bed, desk, small table and two chairs, wardrobe with iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee making facilities, hairdrier and fridge. Free wi-fi good TV. Reasonable sized en-suite with over-bath shower. Mismatched bedside lights; not important but could improve the image. There is airccon but we didnt need it. Good choice of breakfast; continental or cooked...

"I stay at this hotel on a regular basis and find it very convenient and comfortable. Last night, the restaurant was unexpectedly busy with a number of large parties. The staff coped admirably and although I was on my own, my meal was served on time and was great. Well done."

"Staffordshire all v friendly. As a single lady I felt v safe and secure. Only niggle was the shower over the bath which was v fierce and not easily controlled. Would go back to stay again as I have family close by that I visit. "
