The staff were fabulous. When I arrived early I was able to use the pool and also the day I left. The food was great. Very centrally locally. All the other guests were also really friendly - I would highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again in the future!

It was ok
I really like the restaurant, excellent meals, the customer service was amazing. The location sucked!! Too far from Ibiza airport and town, boring area, and the beach in San Antonio is very lame, would probably never stay here due to the location.

Gay oasis, your home from home
Really enjoyed my stay! Hotel manager Gian Luca, aka 'mother superior' and his team really runs the place with head AND heart and made me feel so comfortable and at home! Whenever I had a question or needed advice or tips where to go they were super helpful. After a few days everyone knew me by my name, which was lovely and they were even telling me to be careful when i rented a scooter (my mum was the same when she found out haha). The hotel is boutique, but big enough and right in the centre of San Antonio, contrary to the Axel Hotel which is in the outskirts. To get to the port and beach it's only about 5 min. It's super clean everywhere, the interior and exterior has been designed with an eye for detail and to make you feel relaxed and at ease. The rooms are generous and very nicely designed, all with air con and working wifi (though I always have problems with the wifi speed wherever I go, never fast enough for me when i am working). The cleaners are also very friendly and cleaned the room to perfection every day. And every day breakfast the guys made a big effort and made a delicious special breakfast as I don't eat meat or dairy (quite hard to find vegan options in Spain). My favourite area was the pool area which felt a bit like an oasis with its plants, different sections, sun loungers and bench areas, a great sound system and cool ambient lighting during the night. Great experience
Best hotel ever! We were received with a sparkling drink with a strawberry. Really appreciated! Location is 8 minutes away from San Antoni bus station. You can get to the hotel from the airport in less than an hour with bus L9 (only during summer). You can go to Ibiza town with bus L3. If you are going to Ushuaïa or Hï or any other big club, take the bus L3B (only during summer). Location is really good. Highly recommend! Special thanks to Mother superior, Ruth an all the staff for the amazing experience! Also, you must try the food there, it's really good!

Excellent experience.
We had a great experience during our stay. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. Gean Carlos (the manager) went out of his way to accommodate every request, and to make us laugh with his great sense of humor. Easy parking in a private lot (adjacent) to the Hotel, a 5 minute walk to “Cafe del Mar” and the most magical Sunset in the world. Ibiza is definitely Magical!!! ⭐️✨✨

He staff is amazing. Everyone is very friendly but the hotel itself is very loud. You can hear everything in the hallway and during the day you can hear screaming children from a nearby schoolyard. I was also frustrated they didn’t give me late check out even though I told them the noise kept me up all night and woke me up early during the day.

Great hotel, great host, great food!
When we arrived we were warmly received by Gianluca, a very friendly host. The room was very nice too and we both enjoyed the food (dinner and breakfast) as well. We did however ask for an extension of our stay, the host said this was possible and that there was a room available. Apparently a double booking was made so we had to leave the hotel after just one night. This surprised us and of course we did not like this. The manager of the hotel offered to solve this during our next stay so that is the reason for 4/5 instead of 5/5.

Last min disaster
I got there and was not ok with the ambiance. I didn’t even check in. Check in was 4pm. I got there 7am. I wanted to cancel my reservation. When I called booking.com they said if the hotel was ok with not charging you the cancellation fee which was 50% of the reservation IN EUROS! The hotel said they didn’t want to allow to waive cancellation fees. I didn’t like that. If I was there and checked in it would be a diff story. I never been to this island and They should of been nicer about the situation. It was my honeymoon.

You booked a room for two nights on June, 2 months before your arrival, and the policies on Hotels.com are very clear. Free cancellations are only available till two days before arrival. Late cancellation fee is the first night of the reservation, in your case (2 nights total) 50% of the reservation. I personally talked with Expedia / Hotels.com staff and informed them about the situation and the booking was never cancelled. We kept the room anyway but you never came back. The day after your check-in we tried to charge no show fees but the card provided on your reservation did not work. Regards,

The staff are absolutely amazing. Friendly, funny, caring and they make you feel like a member of their family. The food is sensational for the price you pay. Always made ‘with love’ as Gian the hotel manager would say. Clear well equipped rooms, beautiful chilled out pool area. This was our 2nd visit, already planning our 3rd. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable and relaxing stay
My husband & I just spent our Ibiza week in this hotel. The hotel itself is quite comfortable, room was a good size with balcony, comfy beds, good wifi, air con, nice size pool and terrace, confortable sun beds, all good. And free, secure parking, what a treat! Upon arrival, there was a warm welcome from manager, Gianluca, who appears to never take a day off, always there to serve & attend..... every day, with a warm smile. However, a couple of suggestions for improvements: the room could have used a waste bin as there was no where really to leave trash. And the bathroom is missing a towel hook or rack or somewhere to hang damp towels. Delicious & reasonably priced breakfasts, with good coffee and orange juice, served until late. The menu was well varied and food satisfying. Gianluca prepared the tiramisu himself and it was excellent!! Also there are excellent poolside cocktails. We were very pleased with the attention from waiters Iván, JosMar (what a smile on that boy!!), the late night greeter and our room cleaner, Bibi (also has a fantastic smile). There are, however, a couple of negatives I feel I should mention for a balanced review. First, as a gay man, I found that for a LGBT hotel (marketed as hetero-friendly), there were too many loud, topless hetero-females by the pool. Second, from the room, one can hear what's happening or conversations in the adjoining rooms and hallway. Many thanks to The Purple and its staff for a relaxing stay.

They guys at the front were super nice. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar. Some guys were terrorizing us but they helped us kick them out. The only thing was on the wifi paper it says "free welcome drink" but upon asking, the owner had no idea what we were talking about. Also had a charge of $60 with no recollection of what it was and upon calling they just kept hanging up on me but other than that the hotel is super clean and everyone was nice. I got the charge resolved.

Well me & my straight friend booked to stay at the Purple Hostel. On arrival we were greeted with 'you do know this is for gay only' which was soon re-phrased to a 'straight friendly' hostel. Such a shame we got a poor welcome as the stay itself was lovely & the hostel is in fabulous condition in comparison to other hotels I've stayed in whilst in Ibiza for around the same price!

Great stay for a hostel and the price in a great location. The pool is pretty and nicely kept. The room was clean. They should upgrade the toiletries from disposable containers and stronger wifi to reach the room.

Really nice people and very eager to please. Disappointing that the advertised Wi Fi doesn't work in the rooms and nobody seems really bothered. Great pool area but bathrooms could certainly do with some attention. My room was noisy as it was above the kitchen. Try to avoid Room 102!
