“Never again”

The first room I was in had a refrigerator that clunked constantly and smelled heavily of perfume. When I turned on the heat, the unit dumped smoke at me and set off the fire alarm. The room they moved me to smelled like vinegar and had not been cleaned. There was rust in the tub and the bathroom was much colder than the rest of the room I assume because of the drain in the middle of the floor that I am guessing went down to the sewer. This might also explain the vinegar smell. It took 15 minutes of running for the water in the shower to be anything other than ice cold and the walls were so thin it sounded like there was a herd of elephants all around me. Iam never going to stay at a Howard Johnson again.

“Economical and affordable.”

Our stay at the Howard Johnson was great! We were comforable and we didn't have to travel too far to get to our daily destination in the downtown area. All the necessary amenities were provided. The only suggestion I would offer would be that rubber mats and safety handles be added to the tub to prevent any slipping or falling.

“BAD LOCATION”

First this hotel is man, many miles from the Houston International airport. Around the hotel there is construction zone. Very inconvenient. I'll never go back there again.

“Notel Motel”

The motel was a typical notel motel. It was not what I excepted of the Howard Johnson name. The lobby reaked of Indian cooking.

“Not a good hotel”

The staff was courteous, but the room was very basic and not very clean. The shower worked poorly, there was mold in the bathroom, and the light fixtures were loose. I didn't touch the breakfast because the fridge door behind the desk was hanging open every time I went in the office.
