The property knew we would arrive late.When we arrived it took 30 minutes for them to get us checked in. We finally made it to our room around 11:30 pm. The room was nothing like what I had chosen. I intentionally chose a suite that had a separate living area bc I was going to be having surgery at MD Anderson and would be staying 4 nights. Our room had no living area, only a small kitchen table with 2 chairs. The kitchen area had a stove that was so dirty you could actually write your name in the dirt. The bathroom had been recent renovated but the staff failed to explain that the shower only worked if you lifted the whole bath water spout up. When I went back downstairs to speak with the staff & manager and show them the picture of the suite I had booked through Expedia, they blamed the mishap on Expedia. When I demanded another room, I was told they had no other rooms available. By this time it was midnight and we were exhausted and I had early appointments the next morning. We chose to stay the night and they would move us the next day. I went straight up to the room and booked another hotel (Blossom Hotel) through Expedia and we checked out the next morning. I was told by the manager on duty that morning that she had just brought this up in their staff meeting that Doubletree needed to supply booking sites current pictures of the rooms they offered. She was apologetic and said she would refund me for the remaining 3 nights. We moved to the Blossom Hotel and enjoyed our st
