“Tech trip”
We went to Houghton to spend time with a Michigan Tech student. We were very satisfied with the Ramada.
“Would definitely go back there...”
Very clean room. Convenient restaurant attached to hotel located along the water with pretty views--and they also offered a free continental breakfast. Price was very reasonable and location was easily accessible once you figured out you had to go underneath the bridge to get there.

“Great place in Hancock”
I was up visiting my daughter at Tech. Usually stay at a cheap motel a little out of town. But for $20 more a night, stayed at a very nice full service( breakfast, pool, hot tub, restaurant). Very convenient location. Will be back again!
“enjoyed the waterfront view”
Pleasant stay, quiet hotel. We enjoyed the lake view from our window. Clean, comfortable. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast fare.

Ramada Waterfront was very convenient to get to - just stay in the right lane as you cross the bridge from Houghton to Hancock. Great location on the water with a couple of outdoor picnic tables you can relax on. Rooms were clean and nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. The reasonable price was just the icing on the cake!!

“Impressed with Ramada in Hancock, MI”
Very nice motel in Hancock, MI. My wife and I were pleased. The only negative was the pool was a little cold, especially for my wife and 2 year old son.
“Hooughton alternative”
The Ramada is in a great location and offers a great alternative to staying in Houghton. The hotel provides a great view across the channel to Houghton which less than a five minute walk or drive across the lift bridge. Take a walking tour up the hill of the fantastic homes. The front desk was extremely friendly and responsive to my needs / restaurant recommendations. The indoor pool,hottub,sauna is very nice and appeared to be well maintained. My only negative feedback was the in-room heater was noisy which I brought to the attention of the front desk upon checkout.
“Great Location”
This hotel was right on the snowmobile trail with snowmobile rentals across the street. Great location, friendly staff and a great deal for peak season. We plan to go back next year!
