Great stay despite a power outage due to an unexpected storm (power was restored within a couple hours). Beautiful location, clean and inviting rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Great place to stay for families touring nearby Michigan Tech.

Great location in Houghton. I found that the prices in the Keweenaw peninsula are quite high, so that was a good compromise. Great location on the lake/river front, perfect to watch the late sunrise (the peninsula is still on eastern time) while having breakfast outside. Very close to downtown and restaurants. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna were a plus. Rooms are decent, although the beds seem on the small side and were a little too soft, and the pillows enormous! (It was still fine). Breakfast is... continental, with some hard boiled eggs, yogurts and waffle makers. This is not a luxury hotel, but is very acceptable for a night or 2 if you do not want to spend a fortune.

This is a great, basic place to stay. The downtown is walkable from this location. The staff is helpful and friendly. I have stayed here many times and look forward to the next stay!

This is a really decent hotel and well priced. We travel here a lot for the sights and beauty, there are a few waterfalls, we love agate beach nearby and of course the other stuff.
