"Amazing find, top notch stay and the village is perfect "

"We spent one night at the Willow. The location is excellent just a few steps from the main road with shops, pubs and restaurants. The parking is free and very good. The bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the very small on-suite and the chairs in the room were not comfortable. They need to be more stable. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was average. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good for a quick stay."

"Michael and Denys were perfect hosts. When I arrived I was met with a friendly welcome and shown to my room. Throughout my stay they were always on hand to answer any queries and served a wonderful breakfast. The place was clwan and tidy with great facilities."

"The entire house was spotlessly clean, we had the continental breakfast which was plentiful for us. The room had plenty of tea and coffee plus a kettle. Kamila was very attentive and has a bubbly personality and couldn't do enough. The TV was equipped with a Amazon fire stick, so I player, Netflix etc was available, along with Free Wi-Fi"

"Very pleasant stay at Highfield House over the weekend. Greeted by our host on arrival and all essential information shared. Room (4) was clean and adequate size. Towels etc changed each day where necessary. Only had breakfast on our last morning and regrets that we didn't try it before. It was lovely. Was lucky enough to get one of the parking spaces so didn't need to touch the car all weekend. Its a very showy walk into the busy end of town. Only criticism would be the weak wifi signal which...

"Upon arrival"

"Following three failed attempts to check in on arrival due to an unmanned desk, the rest of the stay was excellent, mostly down to the wonderful Sunny whom ensured our stay was comfortable and with plenty of supplies due to the weather conditions. The only downside was a faulty light in our room which constantly flashed on and off during the night which disturbed our sleep a little. We reported it twice, hoping for repair or a change of room but it was a weekend so no maintenance was available...

"We needed a room to sleep and shower and this room met all our criteria modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of off road parking. "

"Very helpful staff. Our first room was rather small with a very hard bed, but they changed it to a bigger room for our last night. Some of the boutique rooms have very quirky furniture! The staff were great, and the breakfasts were brilliant. Would stay again - but choose the room carefully."

"Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."
