Good choice for a flight stop over

Posted 27-Jan-2015
Pros: Close to airport
We chose this hotel for a flight stop over arriving at 10pm and departing at 9am the following morning. On arrival, we were able to purchase some cereal and milk for our breakfast in the lobby convenience store. Room was comfortable and quiet, and with shuttles leaving every 30 minutes, it was a good choice. Recommended.

Too pricey for what it is

Posted 26-Jan-2015
Pros: Lobby area is bright and pleasant. Convenience Store and vending machines inside hotel
Cons: rooms in need of refurbishment to reflect the price of the hotel.
The shuttle from Honolulu airport was very fast. Called the hotel using the airport phone and the shuttle arrived just as we were walking to the stop. The lobby was bright and tidy. There was even a convenience store to buy snacks and also vending machines scattered throughout the hotel. The room was decently sized, but old. Would be good if the rooms were refurbished to reflect the price of the hotel. There is a restaurant for breakfast. You can order omelettes, eggs benedict etc. Breakfast isnt free. Conveniently close to the airport but overpriced for such room conditions.

Convenient location that fits your basic needs.

Older hotel that's a quarter of a mile from the airport. It's not fancy, but it filled my needs. I'm not the type of person who travels to hang out in hotels. A hotel for me is a place to change clothes before I go to my next planned event and to sleep at night. I felt safe there. It was clean. The staff was nice and very helpful. If you are HIGH MAINTENANCE, this not the hotel for you! Because it's older, it could use some remodeling. Even in it's older condition, it's still a nice stay. It also has a very responsive and free shuttle service that sticks with the schedule. I gave the facilities a four instead of a five because the fitness center's A/C wasn't working, which made it a little steamy in there to workout. Unfortunately, I didn't notify the staff about it, so I can't blame them completely for it. I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

OK if you need to be near the airport

Posted 16-Jan-2015
Pros: Proximity to the airport Efficient shuttle to and from the airport Friendly, efficient staff Free local newspaper
Cons: Offering dinner every night Decaf coffee in room
Location: Right near to the aiport. There is a bus to central Waikiki Near Pearl Harbour Otherwise, not much.
This hotel, as the name suggests, is very near the airport and so is fine if you need a night's stay before catching a flight or arriving late at night. There is a free shuttle bus which you can call from the airport arrivals lounge. I found it very efficient both going to and coming back from the airport. The facilities are fine for a night's stay. There's a small shop selling some food and a microwave in the room if you need a hot snack. It's proximity to the airport is a bit of a disadvantage though for a longer stay cos the airport and the hotel are right bang next to a busy highway both at ground level and up top on an overhead carriageway. It's in a bit of a wilderness with no shops or other facilities near by. The hotel serves dinner only on certain evenings, otherwise you can bussed to their other hotel. They do serve breakfast though which you can take in a pleasant location next to the pool.

Close to Airport

Posted 13-Jan-2015
Pros: Close to Airport if you need to be.
Cons: Just about everything, price drop to quality of room, provide parking for customers, have a continental breakfast, better beds...everything!
Location: Close to airport...about it.
Hotel charges way too much for this type of room and the parking per day is $30. I checked out and went elsewhere. Would not recommend.
