"Excellent stay at the Sandman Signature Gatwick. The staff were excellent at accommodating us with 2 very tired children. We arrived early in the morning, although not able to check in, they took our bags for us and let the kids use the pool until the room was available. There was unlimited tea/coffee and hot chocolate at our disposal as well. Room was clean and larger than other UK hotels we stayed in. Our room had a mini fridge and a microwave which was a GameChanger for us with kids - got some groceries and the staff had no issues with providing us with cutlery. Restaurant was excellent and good selections for kids and adults. While there is a restaurant in the hotel, it is only open for breakfast or supper (after 4pm). The hotel is within walking distance of TESCO. (7minutes) which we used a bit. You can walk to the Three Bridges train station (about 17 minutes) and there is a bus stop about a 7 minute walk that will take you to Gatwick airport. Things to note: there is no airport shuttle from this hotel. You can order a taxi (about £28) to Gatwick Airport, or you can get a £8 Uber to the train station and get to the airport that way. We used the bus, it was a 7 minute walk to the bus stop (bus 100) to Gatwick airport. Hotel is sitting on a busy roadway. Loudness could depend on room location. Air conditioning in the room was super loud when it cuts in. We did try not to use it, but it was a warm couple of days in Gatwick so we had too. "

"Beautiful hotel and a lovely stay despite ongoing construction works. We stayed on a Friday night and were mostly unaffected - some areas of the hotel were clearly ready to be updated but the facilities we used were brilliant. Our room was a river view and the balcony was not yet ready to be used. The room itself was a standard size but the cleanliness is what made it a great stay. We really appreciated the robes and slippers for using the onsite pool and spa. We absolutely loved the outdoor pool, it’s a shame we couldn’t use it past checkout time on our departure day as it had closed when we checked in on the Fri early evening. The breakfast is a higher price but we felt it was good value for money with what was available. We hope to visit again and make the most of the grounds and local area. Breakfast staff were the friendliest staff members we met during our stay. "

"Very nice property convenient few minute walk from Heathrow. Plenty of elevators always at the ready. Safe and secure property. Your room key must be used to access elevator. Check in staff was lovely. Nice atmosphere. Smoking section far away from entrances with seating area. Would definitely stay here again Bwr"

"Compared to other hotels near Heathrow it was reasonably priced. There’s a Piccadilly line station across the road from the hotel which is one stop away from the airport. Therefore no taxis required. I had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant, which was again quite reasonably priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again if flying out early from Heathrow airport."
