“Best in area for price”

The few other hotels in area at same price can't compete. Room was fairly new. Room was clean and well decorated. Tub drained well and shower had good pressure. Not a large selection at complimentary breakfast but seamed ok. Restaurant was closed by time we checked in.

“Very good value”

The Hillsborough-Days Inn is a very good value. The price is very good and there are no real issues with this motel. The only reason (apparently) for its excellent value is that it is not convenient for most business travelers. It is for me, as I used to live nearby and so its central for friends, etc. It has a satisfactory free breakfast and has a microwave and fridge in the room; convenient for long stays. I've have stayed here over ten times in about 15 years and am pleased it solved some issues from about 5-10 years ago. Oh, Route 206 can be quite congested.

“Days Inn Hillsborough, NJ”

Heavily smoke filled. Attached restaurant food very poor. Bar selection limited. Rooms on line appeared to be recently remodeled, but, not the case. A flat screen TV does not constitute a remodel.

“Very Disappointed”

My husband & I very disappointed with this hotel. We have previously stayed at other Days Inn hotels and never had any issues. We had requested a non-smoking room, which we did get. The room had a slight odor of stale smoke, with a stronger odor in the bathroom. The day that we arrived was a hot day. When we got to the room, the air conditioner was not turned on. We had turned it on and had left our room for the remainder of the afternoon. When we returned the room was comfortable. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were damp. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

“Conveniently located”

Hotel was ok, restaurant-bar was a dump. Don't eat there. Sole attendent was outside, smoking, more than half of the time.

“Utility and convenience at a reasonaable price”

This hotel works fine for a basic and inexpensive overnight stay. My room on the upper floor (as requested) was neat, clean, roomy, and well-supplied. I was able to get two queen beds after initially requesting a single king--a nice touch by the staff. I had trouble with the air conditioner in that it would not blow cold air continually even though it was very warm in the room. I requested help and the front desk obliged. I left for a few hours (before the maintenance guy arrived) and when I came back the AC was working fine (whew--it was 100 degrees outside).The continental breakfast was a fairly typical affair but welcomed nonetheless. In and out the next day with no trouble; room on the backside was extremely quiet and dark (great); frontside rooms face a busy road. I would stay here again in a moment, especially considering the low cost of the room. The hotel is conveniently close to Somerville, Bridgewater, Hillsborough, and even Princeton (about 15 miles south). I recommend it.
