The Elser Hotel Miami
6/10 Okay
"Location was great. Lots of places to walk to including Bayfront. The condo itself was very spacious and new. 2 bedroom 2 full baths and a full kitchen with laundry in room. Views were spectacular. We had a lightbulb that was out and somebody came and quickly fixed it. The check in process was chaotic and the parking was $126 for 2 nights for self parking. The parking was up so many floors and before we learned how to use the elevator system, it truly was confusing how to exit the parking garage and get around. Leaving the building took so much time due to their parking structure. The outdoor pool was really nice. We ordered food poolside and that was yummy as well. Gym looked amazing but didn’t get to use since I was traveling with 4 kids. We were able to use their complimentary access to South Beach with Marriott, got discounted parking, lounge chairs and beach towels. Overall, it wasn’t too bad but would likely stay elsewhere if I were to come back"

"Location is quite central. The hotel staff are quite helpful. We did not get a microwave in our room and it was quite inconvenient, but when we asked, they were happy to provide us with one."

"My overall experience was nice however I was not informed about to daily resort fee so my budget was cut a little no problem. I will say that my air conditioning in my room was poorly maintained and was way too loud at night I reported it and nothing was done. Also the carpet in my room was also not maintained well"

"Overall, the property was great. Our only complaint about the room is that the sensor lights would randomly go off on you - think while in the shower, etc - and not come back on with movement. This happened at least a few times. Our biggest complaint and reason we would not give a higher score is that the Friday night bartender experience was not good. She was not personable whatsoever. After first having to clear it with a manager, she finally turned on the NBA finals game. Everything was fine until around 11 PM. Literally, 5 seconds left in the game, the bartender made us leave so she could clean… even roped us off. A little bit of customer service goes a long way and unfortunately, due to this experience, next time we will look elsewhere for accommodations."
