"Fran is a wonderful host and crammed so many helpful little touches into the Old Stables, from a full set of guides and pamphlets to local activities to a comprehensive welcome package of essentials such as milk, water and cereals. It's nice to find a place to stay that even has sauces and salt and pepper - much overlooked by other property owners. "Very dirty place, didn’t even dare having a shower, I stayed for the night cuz I am a student and couldn’t afford paying for an other accommodation when I had already paid for this one! The walls are paper thin... if you want good sleep don’t go there even if you’re on a budget "

"Perfect night stay at Harlestone retreat, very clean room with tea and coffee available the bed was so comfortable i slept all night and needed an alarm to wake me up. I will be staying again for sure. It would be nice if they could leave a bowl of fruit or a drink as a welcome pack ( even if it costed me more money ) It was nice to relax in front of a big TV with some great films to choose from. Very clean shower and toilet. Overall it was just what i needed. "

"We rented this house for my daughter's hen weekend the house was stunning in an amazing location with great facilities. We could not find fault with the house it accommodated 20 of us amply. All types of celebrations are catered for here from a formal dinner, to a party to a film night and even quiet relaxation in the pool and hot tub. The garden and grounds are well maintained and are beautiful. There is a pretty Marina just 5 minutes walk away with a lovely pub just 5 minutes further on. We...

"Well furnished and well equipped place which was clean and stylish. We only stayed a couple of nights but enjoyed the peace and break away. We had a lovely meal at The Stag and Hounds- would highly recommend. John was always there if we needed him and was very informative."
