It was clean, but the rooms need some upkeep and repairs. The floor under our in room air conditioning was rotted out, the carpet is all that is keeping a guest from falling through. Guests are noisy in the hallways early in the morning hours like 3:30am. Guests would go in and out the stairwell door which would slam shut next to one of our rooms to go out to smoke, not much sleep that night, asked to change room and the night was better.

Loved the environment fornmy girlfriend and i, heb is a 5 min walk for snacks, food, etc. The staff were super friendly, and the pool is perfect for a late night swim, love that the front desk is 24hrs fir any of your needs and especially the snacks they sell there for your own convenience. Perfect stay 10/10 i would stay again

Attendant at check in was pleasant but beyond that, the room was dirty. It needed to be vacuumed, towels had stained and bathroom did not appear to be cleaned.

Excellent location, major grocery store, shopping and restaurants and other places that we like are close by. Easy access to major interstate highway which goes north or south. Staff are friendly and helpful. They offer coffe and vending machines. This is our go to for stays in Harlingen. Affordable but offers everything we need.

Bedbugs
Bedbugs. I have as laying on the bed and saw crawling in the bed. I killed it, put it on a sheet of toilet paper, took it to the front desk. The lady at the front desk was laughing and said “oh where did it come from” I moved the upper mattress and found a few more bedbugs. I immediately packed my belongings and left the hotel. Aside from the bedbugs, there were roaches, the room smelled so bad I think it’s mold in the AC.

The elevator was out of order. The washer and dryer was out of order. I was there five days and they never made the bed. The breakfast was very inadequate. There was no juice, no hot water for tea. There was toast and packaged donuts. The only hot item was waffles. The front desk staff was helpful.

The ac was hot all night smelt musty wet dirty and the blow dryer didn’t work . And felt like the tub was going to fall out . And plus 60 deposit fee smh . Breakfast boiled egg and waffles naw . Never again just felt dirty and nasty .

My TV went out & stopped working in the original room that was issued to me. I asked if i could change rooms & was immediately given a new room key & was just asked to return faulty room TV key. They also accommodated a late check-out request for me the following morning. Cold A/C. Nice big TV. 😊

They're supposed to have a pool it was not open. I don't like sharing my room with cockroaches and what looked like blood splatter on the ceiling!! And now I'm having to fight to get my money back and I'm sleeping in my car!! Explain that!

The staff was great! Very nice and helpful. However, this hotel is becoming run down and in disrepair. I have stayed there several times and it seems they aren't keeping up with necessary repairs and maintenance. For example, there was water damage, rot, or termite damage near the tub that had just been painted over without being fixed. Also, the room smelled like it had been smoked in even though it was a designated non- smoking room. I think they can do better.

I am sorry you had issues with your room. Unfortunately this is the first we are hearing of this issue and have rented that room out several times since you were there. If you would have contacted the front desk we would have been more than happy to move you to a different room.
